I came to Launceston for a job interview and i chose to stay at the Hotel Launceston largely for their close proximity to the interview location. First thing I picked up was the friendliness of the staff. They were helpful and certainly supportive once they learned of my purposes for being there.
The room was great, being clean and boasting both WiFi comfortable beds. The bistro was also of excellent standard.
And finally, when i checked out to go to my interview, I left my luggage in the staff's safe care. And upon returning, the staff asked how I went and looked forward to my return.
All in all, an enjoyable stay and certainly reason enough to come back :)

We had our last 2 days after a trip our around Tassie . We booked the Hotel as we are Accor members , We arrived when the road was blocked off for bike racing and had trouble finding the car park as it was up the back of the streets .
Our Room we loved and had dinner on our last night in the restaurant and we must say the food was very good . All up a great stay thanks you .

Despite throwing a lot of money at this hotel, it is still hit and miss they dont stand to understand the Accor rewards system. From a stay four weeks previous to this stay, the difference was remarkable, Previously i was given a park view renovated room, and enjoyed a meal in the restaurant that would have matched it with the best. On this occasion it was a room near a stairwell and the same meal was a far cry from the previous culinary delight. Staff attitude is hit and miss and customers a mere extra hassle from staff viewpoints. On its A game this hotel is fine, but have found those occasions to be lessening. Clearly a distinct lack of hotels in Lonny if this the best we can produce.

We arrived an hour later than planned due to flight delays. Unfortunately when we arrived we learnt there was no food nearby, no room service and apart from cashews and chips, there was nothing in the room to purchase for dinner. The bed was lovely and comfortable and our view overlooked the city park which was nice. The shower floor is extremely slippery and I suggest it needs a shower mat to avoid any potential injuries as it was very easy to slip over. We ordered a taxi the next day after checkout and waited over 45 minutes. I checked in after 25 minutes and was advised that the wrong taxi company was called and a new booking was required. Overall I thought the room was clean and comfortable however considering we went to bed hungry I did feel that it was overpriced

Good location and clean, nice room with plenty of space. No arrival drinks for silver Le club member and breakfast wasn't open everyday and only open til 9am which meant the one day we thought to have breakfast at the hotel for convenience we actually couldn't.
