Tiny room, tiny twin beds. Hard mattresses with just sheet and waterproof cover on top. Very noisy because of the road noise. Husband put shutter right down which would have helped a bit but it was like being in a tomb, pitch dark and claustrophobic. Breakfast was in cold characterless room and was quite basic with no service. It was at least quite clean but I would only have been happy with this if I was a student or had just been released from prison, neither of which apply to me.

Enjoyed three nights here. Came across the village and hotel by accident whilst waiting for our car to be repaired. Beautiful location, beside the river and very tranquil . Guests can enjoy the lovely gardens with sunbeds and choice of two terraces to enjoy a drink. The room on the first night was a little small for us, but when we mentioned this we were moved to a very spacious room overlooking the river for not much extra. So it is worth upgrading. Everything was spotless in the hotel and everybody polite and willing to please. The only downside would be there is no restaurant in the evening (selection of pre made meals available) The hotel recommends a restaurant 10 minutes drive. We had no car, so the option was a 5 minute walk to another hotel in the village. It was ok, but would rather have given 2 rives the business. All in all very good and thanks to the service of the garage across from the hotel

Receptionist seemed to be very blunt and charged me for breakfast even though she said it was included ! As soon as French people came over she was very pleasant ... at breakfast she put us on a table with no settings and gave all the French a croissant but not us ... almost comical like something off a TV sitcom .... but the room was beautiful with good views and very clean ... but avoid if you're British :)

This hotel is ideally located if driving from the UK to Spain as it's about as far as you want to drive ion one day after getting in to France. Nicely located just off the main road. We arrived very late and they had left a note and keys for us. The room was very big, very clean and really nice decor. Very modern. It was very dark when we arrived so waking up to the surroundings and those views was amazing. Very good setting. Sleepy little French village. Didn't stop fro breakfast as wanted to carry on our journey. Paid a very reasonable price for a very nice, warm, comfortable room with good beds. The only downside was the receptionist in the morning was very miserable. But who knows, could have been a bad day for her. Would definitely stay again if doing the same trip. Dog friendly too.

Used this as a stop-over on way down to, and back from Spain. Just 2 minutes from j40 on the A71.
Extremely clean and has high quality fixtures and fittings.
Nice location by the river and in the height of the season there are loungers and so on with a terrace.
It has no restaurant so you drive up the road 5 minutes where there are quite a few good ones. (we used Le P'tite Porte and Le Citadel. Both excellent).
Both our rooms had air-con and mosquito screens, which are essential in the summer.
Breakfast and bar area are pleasant but didn't use.
Were overcharged 10 euros on our first stay, but not a real problem.
