Excellant service........but away from main area

Hotel 16 is a good hotel in Prague. The staff members are very polite, courteous and always ready to provide all information and help (service), you need during your stay in Prague. You can purchase tram ticket from the hotel as per your requirement. Rooms are clean and spacious, washroom a bit small but good. Complimentary breakfast very good, I liked cheese omeletts, apple strudel and pan cake with maple syrup.

We stayed for four nights. Our first visit to Prague. The staff, particularly Adam, were outstanding in their hospitality and service. From ideas on what order to see the sights, places to eat, and access to local public transportation, including providing tickets for the tram, the service met and exceeded all of our needs. The breakfast is complete with something for everyone, and lots of it! If you are think perhaps the location is away from the tourist zone, it really isn’t, and you may find it nice to have quiet streets (near the medical school and university) for walking, away from the crowds in the evening. We had the one bedroom suite which offered a very quiet nook for sitting away from the bed, for quiet privacy. Highly recommend as one of the best hotel experiences I’ve had. You may want to have them arrange your drive from the airport, as it is cheaper than using the airport taxi.

Small in budget but big in reward

Once you step in, you just feel welcome. Staff is very helpful. Room is great. If I have to complaint, it will be too quiet without all the tourist crowd and allowing me to sleep well after the excursion.

From the moment I checked in - the staff was welcoming and so helpful. My room was on the top floor and very quiet as I had requested. It was a bit small but fine for one person. When they found out I was trying to do yoga in my room - they moved me to a large spacious room that had come available.
10/10 for cleanliness and the bed was very comfortable. Air conditioning was no problem and you can open the windows for fresh air if you want. Amenities are very basic - but I brought my own. They have a very good laundry service, postcards, stamps, tram tickets are available.
Breakfast is really great - everything you could want and quite healthy. Coffee is made to order and the cappuccino was delicious.
The staff helped me plan out my sightseeing plan and as I asked for "off the beaten path" they gave me outstanding advise!
Big thank you to Michael, Pavlova and Adam! You made my stay in Prague truly memorable!

what a lovely hotel!

We spent 3 nights in Hotel 16. It is clean, comfortable and pleasantly decorated and the breakfast is delicious (we really liked the choice of music too). Our room on the second floor was huge and we had 3 good night's sleep. The hotel staff are the most friendly and welcoming of any hotel we've stayed in and nothing was too much trouble for them, especially Adam. Some people have complained about the location; if you picked this hotel up and moved it to a more central location it would be twice the price. For 83p each, tram 22 (from just around the corner) takes you right into town past all of the major tourist sights. It was particularly convenient to ride it right up into the castle area and wander back down at our own pace (Adam's suggestion). I would say the peaceful location is a positive aspect to the hotel after a busy day sight seeing in beautiful Prague. We highly recommend Hotel 16!!
