What's not to like here? In a word - nothing.
Upon entering you are greeted cheerfully by the nicest people at reception (seriously, these people are always kind and happy).
The rooms are very clean, provide decent amenities (no more hostels for you) and at a great price.
They even helped us with holding our luggage for us after check-out and printing some tickets.
The location is also fantastic - situated in central Plaza Nueva, there are taxis, bus routes, shops, restaurants and a supermarket literally right outside.
If you want a stress-free vacation in Granada, come stay here!

This hotel is in a great location. It was very clean and comfortable The staff could not have been more friendly or helpful-they were great. The room however was very small-and incredibly dark. The only window was heavily frosted and looked out onto a small interior courtyard-no daylight at all. There was no tea or coffee maker-or even a kettle and cups. As there was no safe in the room-we took our valuables with us-and as a result we had our bag stolen in the street outside. I would suggest to the hotel to install individual safes in rooms-and some way of making a hot beverage.

This hotel offers a perfect location for all your tourist sites in Granada. Its on the popular Plaza Nueva with a lot of restaurants to chose. The hotel is a no frills hotel with typical smaller rooms that you find in Europe. It does have some character to it. What made our visit special was Pedro who met us at the desk to check in. What a great guy with a super personality. He was so helpful in all our request. I wish that we had people like Pedro in all of the hotels that we stay. Thanks Pedro for making our visit special. One recommendation that I would make is that you don't need to have a car if you are staying here. We had to park quit a ways away in a parking garage that cost 25 euro a day. Then take a taxi back to the hotel. For the location the price is excellent. We didn't eat the breakfast. Overall, we had a great stay at Hotel Macia Plaza. Thanks again Pedro for everything.

This is a wonderful hotel perfectly located within walking distance of most of the key attractions in Granada. Comfortable and staffed by friendly helpful staff. Would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it.

For 100 euro per night, was good value, but don't expect many benefits. Room was small. Very difficult to get to by car, had to park a fair distance away. Although you can see the Alhambra, quite the hike to get there. If driving, would stay further away. Breakfast was average, and not a very nice room.
