We visited Andaman for our first anniversary. Had booked the hotel earlier from MMT. The location is close to airport and the auto driver was aware of the place. It is located around 5.5 km from airport so we reached within 10-15min. It's located in the residential area on a slope. The pics uploaded on the websites are almost same. The staff was very friendly. We were not aware of the cruise booking to travel to Havelock and Neil island. The staff at the hotel made sure that we get the tickets on time. They didn't charge anything extra from us. There is a restaurant n bar. The restaurant was good. They offered us food even after their closing hours. food was tasty. In evening we went to the bar as well. The bar was gloomy but served good liquor and starters, especially the fish were awesome..

We visited this hotel on our holiday in july 2017.It was a great experience staying at Mainak, great hotel, great hospitality and all staffs were excellent.Best part was they have pick up and drop facility to airport which really helped. The room was extremely comfortable. Great in every aspect, leaves nothing to be desired. This is now my favorite hotel in Port Blair.

With awesome hospitality & very friendly staff behavior this hotel can be rated among very good hotels for a middle class family who are very emotional & sentimental if these feelings are missing during their seven days tour to a most remote & serene place close to the mother nature. Also cannot forget the mouth watering food delicacies at affordable prices.
Over all they will attract you for another visit to their hotel.....

Hotel Mainak is a value for money hotel in Port blair. The worst part of the hotel is the location, dont be deceived by the picture of the hotel, its located on a descending track of a hilltop. As a result the rickshaw might charge you more and moreover its a bit far from the local market hence difficult to find local transport. The rooms are good but not that clean( you can find cockroaches), breakfast is average. The staff is very helpful and cooperative. Overall worth the money.

The first impression on this Hotel is superb. Reached late by 3.30 PM with lot of hunger on 07/05/17 and they were too pleased to take our order. The rooms were allotted in Second Floor with mountain view. All rooms were well furnished. The following staff members were very very helpful in bringing our luggage to the second floor, serving the good food and packaged breakfast at 5.30 AM for our visit to HAVELOCK ISLAND Shri Abbas Sekh, Abhisekh Kumar, Sandeep Roy, Tarok Biswas, Kamol Kulu and MrThyagarajan. With the smiling face the hotel M.D. himself enquired our comforts and hospitality and even inspected the rooms himself. Without any hesitation, I can recommend this Hotel to everyone who wants to visit Port Blair. Advance Reservation is a must as almost all the rooms are full. Their quick response and immediate service is their plus point. They arrange sight visits on request.
