This is a good budget hotel having all the basic things you need. The staff are helpful and friendly, the room big and clean, bed comfortable, water temperature good with acceptable pressure and quiet at night. You can have breakfast for 5 euro per person but we didn’t bother, getting fruit from the nearby supermarket. Half an hour easy walk to the Duomo. Being a budget hotel there are some things to be aware of. There is no lift, the wifi, when it works, is slow, no refrigerator or tea making facilities in room. Bring thick socks to keep you feet warm when walking around the room as the tiles are cold and although the nights got down to 10oC during our five night stay the heating did not come on. Clean towels every three days, but in our five days we didn’t receive clean towels so that is perhaps something you need to request specifically. Good value as Florence is not a cheap place to stay compared with Asia or Eastern Europe.

Stayed in a family room for 4 people. Decor was fun and rural. Good location and lovely staff. Only stayed for one night as was passing through to Pisa but some lovely museums and centre about a 15 minute walk away

The staff is very nice, although you have to make sure that the price you pay is the one you were supposed to pay from the beginning. It's very old fashioned, but it's very clean and it has air conditioning, which was amazing since the weather in Florence can be very hot in the summer.
I enjoyed my stay there.

it is not a luxury hotel.But for the price its wort the money. The reception gave my a warm welcome and before i even asked they gave me a map over the city and started to explain were to take the buss and place to go wort seeing. The room wasentbig but as the rest of the hotel very neat and every detail is godd taste.. the bed was comfortoble and the room was very clean. i had everything i needed.the bathroom is maby a little to smal but it works..its easy to get to al the touristatractions but anyhow a calm place little a side of the more bussy places.the service was exelent and the staff kind and helpfull..reakfast was godd for being a italian breakfast. i got fresch fruits and yougert cakes and bread honey and jam,nutella jucie capocino and cornflakes. the only thing is if you have difficult with stairs this is not a place to go. its many stairs up to the first flor were the reception are and the hotelantrance..

This was a repeat stay for us and everything was as nice as ever. They converted some spaces to include a few more rooms, but the prices are about the same as is the warm reception from the family owned hotel. Can't say enough positive things about this experience.
