Staff on reception very helpful at all times. Dining room had the usual complaint on that they start clearing ready for the next meal while you are still eating. Food not replaced that often that it was going cold even under the heat lights. The room in the brochure which helped us pick this location bore no resemblance the the room we were put in which was a second because on our arrival at 1430 our room wasn’t ready Nearly 90% of the rooms had a balcony but a lot of the guests were on the sane door with no balcony Not up to Jet2 normal choices of hotels and don’t think warranted a 3 *.

Booked hotel through Jet2 City Breaks good location (Taxi 20 euros from airport - 10/15 minutes) easy walk down to the centre lots of cafe's and bars on the way.
Staff very pleasant, hotel clean, pool area clean with bar for food and drink, breakfast was as expected wide variety in buffet. Tram stop very close and bus stop outside.
Trams are very cheap 1.45 euro to most nearby towns, if you wanted to go to Benidorm (no chance of me doing that one) it was 6.50 euros return!
Visit castle (it is free) amazing views - not good if you can't get around as very steep even if you use the lift to get there.
Alicante centre is very impressive and still very authentic Spanish no signs for English Breakfast, Roast Dinners, Sky Sports which was a blessing - gives you a chance to practise your Spanish too.
Drop into the indoor market to see fish, cheese, bakery and meat stalls well worth a wander round.
All very safe during visit locals all very friendly and helpful.
Only downside was the sound-proofing between rooms walls are paper thin so you can hear TV and music etc. from adjoining rooms - not sure what the hotel can actually do about this though.

We had a seaview room and saw two lovely sunrises. The room was comfortable and spotlessly clean. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Great breakfast ,cooked and continental. Great location, 5 minutes to the beach and twenty into town.

At the castle end of Alicante , a 15 minute walk to the harbour . A warm friendly check in. The room was very clean and a good size. The buffet breakfast had everything, continental and fruit , cereals , and fry up.
A 3 minute walk gets you to a tram stop to Alicante central and a € 3 :25 trip to Benidorm.

Very old dated room with disgusting brown throw on bed..black mould above air conditioning and between tilis in bathroom..no wifi signal we were on 6th floor..breakfast was very poor quality and undercooked..watery juice and toaster machine that didnt work..the bacon and sausage was inedible. On the plus side..friendly staff and evening meal was good with the exception of one night when it seemed like the chef had a night off..lots to choose from but lots of fish and except for salad and potatoes nothing for vegetarians..dinner didnt start untill 8 at night which for us was late we always arrived at 8 as the food didnt seem to be replaced. After 1.5 hours the same burgers in buns were still sat there underheat lamps
