Stayed here for 2 nights in October. Very friendly and welcoming staff. Loved the decor (very french)
Rooms were small but clean and the beds were comfortable too.
Location was good as it was on the shortest side of the city from the airport so didnt cost lots. Also a 5 min walk from train station. It is however a 10 - 20 min walk to the promenade and the centre.
Breakfast wasnt amazing. Only had continental which included small pastries, ham, toast, jam etc. I wouldnt opt for breakfast again.
Happy Culture have a few hotels dotted around the city. I really liked the idea of visiting the others and getting free ice cream, whiskey, cakes etc. It was a nice touch.
Overall i would defiantly recommend staying for a couple of nights. The hotel was a great price and fulfilled my needs.

Clean room, but very tight. And not sure if its a France thing, but guess they don't give upgrades. So you have a very small room with a balcony that overlooks a parking building. Good thing is, most staff is helpful and ready to help. Bit of character is visible in reception/breakfast area. One gentleman manning the reception at night gave us a brief history of the place and the name Otero with a lot of enthusiasm, which was interesting to hear

We stayed here for 2 nights just for little weekend away. The hotel is very well located round the corner from the main train station so transportation links are very good as buses pass frequently. Located one a quiet side road ensures you should get a good night's sleep.
Our room appeared to be one of the smaller rooms with a very small bathroom - shower, sink and toilet. Although it was a smaller room, the room was still lovely and comfortable. The quality of the bedding, bathroom and decor were all high quality and we enjoyed our time there.
The staff are amazing. Very friendly and helpful and gave us decent recommendations for places to go and eat. Breakfast in morning was only continental but was very good with loads of choice. Tea and coffee was available all day for free in the hotel lounge and they did cakes in afternoon all for free.
The main areas to go were around 15 - 20 minute walk away which was good however buses and trams were all available close by.
Very nice hotel and would stay again.
Only reason for 4 out 5 rather than 5 out of 5 is because the room was a bit smaller than others and a few little things could be improved.

Nice stay ,apart of bathroom plug constantly getting stuck in the bath and noisy neighbours we had great time .Staff was super friendly and brekfast was nice -unlimited teas and coffees which was a nice gesture of hotel

Nice hotel near the train station with free WiFi. Staff was friendly and the breakfast was ok. The location was good only a few minutes by taxi to the old town. the rooms needs some improvements though.
