10 minute drive or ski bus from Filzmoos. Good value, well appointed large rooms - ours had a separate room with a bunkbed for accompanying children. Good food: generous breakfasts, wonderful salads at evening meal - choice of 3 main meals plus vegetarian option. Tea and cakes from 3.30-5 were included in the room price. Small swimming pool, wellness area, climbing wall - drying room - indoor smoke-free policy - snowshoes and toboggans to borrow - all these made for a delightful winter holiday. Suitable for those looking for a quiet stay. In-room fridge useful. Good wifi reception in rooms. Most guests appeared to be from Germany and Austria - but English is widely spoken by the friendly staff.

What a great place to spend a few days. At the end of the road, friendly staff, the food is excellent. The wellness area is fantastic. The prices in the older part are a little lower, the rooms are still great.

We love the mountains and Austria. If you look for a cosy holiday ressort consider to visit Filzmoos in Austria. We spent 2 weeks at the Neubergerhof. They have a huge programm for kids. Really good food and a very nice host famliy. They have children themselves. My family loved the food in the restaurant. I loved the homemade dumplings (come in many variations) and local cheese from the buffet.

Excellent, genuinely friendly and helpful customer service, great facilities - kids club and independence for the children (5 & 7) was wonderful. Organised activities too but with a family feel, not group excursions. Very tempted to come back again.
Recommending to all my friends with families.

this was our 6th visit to the fabulous Neubergerhof over the last 15 years, where we have NEVER been disappointed. We have been there during the Winter, Spring & Fall … it is destination for all seasons. Here you can relax, recharge your batteries and find what is really important in life. You can walk for miles in the woods or the meadows and not see a soul sometimes for hours at a time. What the Food & SERVICE is concerned let me tell you, they can’t do it any better at the Ritz-Carlton or the Oriental and other fancy places. The Reiter Family and their team are totally committed to customer satisfaction and they deliver each and every time. I know I sing a lot of praises , but believe me having spent 42 years in the Hotel Industry I can tell and you will NOT be disappointed, here you get true Austrian Hospitality, a fantastic Family Resort where Kids of all ages are WELCOME !!!!
We were accommodated in room 407, a spacious room , very clean, and a view over the peaceful, very scenic Valley , with fresh, clean mountain air. Had a very smooth check-in, welcomed by owner Mrs. Herta Reiter & and their son Sepp jr. The room is well appointed with amenities., including an in-room safe, ample closet space, good lighting, twin beds pushed together ( arranged as a double bed ) with clean bed linen, a Mini Bar stocked with complimentary apple juice drink and fresh mountain spring water ( free of charge ) . This room also offers a separate day bed. There is free Wi-Fi, bathrobes, slippers / towels in a hand bag to go the Sauna & Swimming Pool. You also have a flat screen TV ( large screen by LG ) . On the balcony you have chaise lounges to relax and take in the sunshine & view. The bathroom was clean ( spotless ) with clean towels, a shower, hairdryer and magnifying mirror.
In the basement you find the Spa, offering beauty - cosmetic treatments, massages, a sauna, and an indoor swimming pool with a panoramic view over the Valley.
There is a daily Children Programm supervised by capable chaperons, activity programs for adults with suggestions for hiking trips in the area. You will be in touch with mother Nature everywhere.
The food is prepared fresh, comes from the local farmers, is very tasty and appetizing. Look for Gundi , Peter, Benjamin in the dining room, they will provide efficient service. Everywhere the staff is very friendly, well trained and they do go the extra mile to make you happy. At the reception look for Conny and Julia…
The daily very extensive breakfast -buffet with plenty of food items to choose from will blow you away, at dinner you have a choice to select from 3 different main courses each day, in addition there is a salad bar with many choices, an appetizer, a soup, desert & cheese tray… for the Vegetarians there are daily choices as well. Nobody ever will leave hungry here.
We were there during Christmas, Santa Claus arrived in the lobby at 5:00 PM with present for the children, it was very festive and the property was decorated everywhere with seasonal Christmas decorations. There was a Christmas Gala Dinner for the guests. New Years Eve Party was equally impressive, a wonderful festive Dinner , after midnight a huge firework which was impressive, and at 1:30 AM more to eat.
Their afternoon Tea will knock you off your feet, the selection of fresh pastries each day is phenomenal.
I may have forgotten a few things to be mentioned but believe me you will NOT be disappointed staying at the Neubergerhof, we salute everyone working there for doing an outstanding job. Thank you for a great vacation and rest assured we will be back !!!!!
