Very bad hotel. Is 1:19 am and I can not sleep because of the noise of the hotel staff. In the room I hear staffs and the music. In the room shine the light from the corridor. One of the worst accommodations in my life. If for some reason you will overnight here do not paying for breakfast in advance, because 400 mxk for two people is nonsense and the hotel itself on the spot offers breakfast in the average for 70 mxk per person.

Decent hotel, although the outside looks nicer than the rooms. The room was spacious and felt quite cool, even with the heat outside, because of the big wooden shutters. The location in the citycenter was perfect! The bathroom was not reallly clean, we could see some toothpaste leftovers from the previous guests on the sink. Our room was located above the calle 59, where there are a lot of bars. They played loud music untill 4am. This made it impossible for me to sleep... So, it's a decent hotel, but don't expect to much from it and ask for a room at the other side of the building.

The pictures sell it but when you arrive it is clear only the public areas are the beautiful character places. The room was pretty basic and the beds were not comfortable. Our view was of the courtyard not of the pretty city but i dont know what views were available from other rooms.
Although the room was a decent size, we could see not all rooms were as big. The best thing about this room was the fluffy towels they give you.
The staff speak a bit of english between them which was ok for us as we speak a little spanish.
The wifi was ok when we arrived then they did something to it which blocked a lot of pages we use this made it untenable for us to stay as we work as we travel and fast wifi is important when we work.
This hotel is in a great location though, central to the old city

The hotel looks amazing (beautiful authentic old building!) and it's location is very close to the main attractions, restaurants and tourist areas, but it can get quite noisy. Especially if your room is next to the sitting area on the first floor!!
Rooms are a bit outdated and not that big, but that's okay. Breakfast wasn't that comprehensive, but tasted pretty good!

Romantic place till you open the door of your room. Rooms are big enough, but without any sense of feelings. Windows to the patio are permanently closed. On Saturday evening very noisy disco in the basement till 3 am without any apologize from the staff after our complains.
