Misty oak's hospitality is truly commendable . A home away from home . It is situated right at the heart of the town yet away from the hustle bustle , an excellent location to unwind yourself . Mr. Deep the manager is a fine gentelman who caters to all your needs , you can contact him for assistance at Siliguri as well . God bless him . The staffs Bapi and Monu are very courteous and assist you with all the errands . Most importantly , Mr. Chopel Wangchuk Bhutia the owner's son is a gem of person , wishing him and his family all the happiness , goodwill and peace in abundance . God speed .

Checked in hotel and room was not as shown on booking.com the cost are very high of the single room
Charges of room are more than 5 star hotel with not much facilities
Quality of linen is not satisfactory

It was really a great experience staying at Misty Oak.
With my full family I stayed 4 nights over there, booked 2 rooms on the Reception floor.
Mr. Rakesh Chawla (Managing Director, +918348010527) is a very nice person and became friendly in couple of minutes. He was so kind and cooperative in proactively addressing our needs on an immediate basis. Mr.Deep (Manager, +918972729358) is equally very much helping, supportive in all aspects. He helped us in arranging all local transportation and also guiding us where to visit (and not to go) with my old parents and small kids. The housekeeping assistant Bapi tremendously helps us preparing healthy (less oil and less spicy) and customized food for all the 4 days.
I checked in on 28th May evening and checked out on 1st June nnon, during these days we never felt that we are away from home. Including owner and manager, all the staffs are very much humble and always ready to assist us in all aspects. Staring from early morning tea, preparing customized food, arranging fruits during dinner, everything was beyond expectation. We all became good friends and stayed like a big family for 4 nights.
All the rooms were fitted with a LCD TV (with almost all channels), hot water kettle, geyser in toilet, small sofa, cupboard. WiFi speed was very good. Reception was decorated with 2 big sofas, LCD TV, one aquarium with colorful fishes. Aquaguard water filter was available in front of the dining area.
Location wise, Misty Oak is not on the market, it is slightly (may be 1 km) down from the MG Market. Most of the people used to walk to go to MG Market, but I never tried walking with my old parents and small kids. Shared taxis are easily available from the hotel door step (Rs.10 per person). Minimum fare for hiring a full cab is Rs.150 from the taxi stand to the hotel. You will hardly find Mountain view from the hotel due to the other buildings. But considering the specious rooms and quality of service, all these negative thoughts would be compensated surely.

i visited in jan 2016 and that was my honeymoon trip.. hotel room was excellent and clean.. especially the manager Mr. Deep is an excellent person.. he help me from beginning of my tour.room service was good. but this hotel bit away from M G merg.

Visited with my friends in jan 2016, the manager Mr Deep was very helpfull. Location is not that great but the rest are fine. Clean room, good and friendly stuff behaviour makes the stay enjoyable. Will visit again.
