We loved our stay at the Kimpton Monaco!! The Pearl District location was perfect for most of the places we wanted to go and I cannot say enough good things about the staff and how friendly and helpful they were, We also very much enjoyed the hosted happy hour in the lobby lounge.
My one and only complaint is that the rooms are way, WAY, over-decorated. Plaid and stripes and birds and branches and more birds...

We had an event at the nines and because they messed up our room block the Monaco came to the rescue! The attendees who were worried about being at the overflow hotel were pleasantly surprised and gave great feedback. Front desk were nice, sales people were very service oriented and not greedy and manipulative like many we deal with. Cool decor that made it really laid back and not intimidating or stuffy. Room rate was excellent value as well.

I have stayed at this hotel a few times and wanted to bring my friends back. The service is exceptional from the doormen greeting you as you walk in to the front counter smiles. Since it was my birthday they sent up bubbly to the room. These are the touches that make the stay wonderful. The happy hour has such a wonderful energy and is a great way to bring people together. This always started our plans for the evening. The hotel is two blocks from the Max Line which makes getting to and from the airport perfectly easy. The hotel is in a great location for wandering the streets for shopping, food, drinks and enjoying the vibe of downtown Portland. The decor is so much fun and makes the stay even better. I always recommend this hotel to everyone.

Stayed here for our girls weekend. The staff is wonderful! We took suggestions from them on several items and were never disappointed! The decorating in the hotel is kind of kitsch. Several styles all balled up into one. Kind of tongue in cheek but it goes a bit far. Easy enough to ignore with all the other positives. Coffee in the lounge in them morning, piano and wine at happy hour! Great location!

Room was very clean and services provided were excellent. Booking was simple and the location is perfect for those that want to visit places downtown in Portland. I will be a return guest for sure. There is an attached tavern you can get room service from 24/7 which was a pleasant experience.
