I stayed in the hotel with my family, although it was just one night I liked the environment of the hotel, staff's behavior (except the two at the reception, they seriously need to learn hospitality) was really nice and they are quick at room service. Rooms are not spacious, but clean. Since the construction is old, they need maintenance, specially for the bathroom door locks.
Food of the restaurant is not that good. Complementary breakfast has several options but not tasty very oily and deep fried).

The hotel looks so cheap, I could not sleep whole night. Me and my wife reached the hotel at 9 pm. Even at this time, when we went to the dining hall, I saw many hotel employees were sleeping in the dining hall. Poor fellows had to get up, fold their bed sheets and run. We felt sorry for them. They hurriedly prepared some food for us. Otherwise no one in the dining hall.
The room, its furnishings, bed and other lenin are unhygenic. For the woolen bed cover, no cotton sheet provided underneath. The woolen bed cover looked so dirty, the whole night I covered myself with bathroom towers.
The reception is in 1st floor. I could not identify the receptionist in 2 attempts. In the third attempt I raised my voice for some one to hear. Then some one got up from behind the reception desk. He sits on a small chair and the reception desk is too tall for him to hide, may be intentionally. Unless one shouts, he does not bother.

good place to stay in guwahati. Standerd room even is clean and spacious. Complimentory bkfast may have more options then its good..we family members stayed only two nights and day time touring but at night we have good sleep here...nice and calm atmosphere. Only room doors locks are vry old and not locking properly..i say this thing to manager.

During our Guwahati trip of Jun'13, we stayed in this hotel for one night which was so pleasant. The staff of the hotel were cordial, helpful and informatic. The amenities of the hotels were standerd.

I was surprised after seeing our booked super Delux AC rooms are small. Services are terrible. We had a logn wait at hotel restaurant our foods (simple order only) and no one are there apart from us in that restaurant ( 8:45 pm - 9:20 pm), not even resturant staff. I had to call receiption 3-4 times to check the progress.Break fast was complementary ( 7:30-10 am) to be taken at Restaurant only. When i requested can i get it at room beyond 10 am, i was replied with a blunt NO. Hotel is chargign very high amount if they arrange vehicle for airpor drop/pick etc.
