Mandarmoni or Mandarmani is one of the large and fast developing seaside resort village facing the northern end of the Bay of Bengal. The place lies at about 20 KM from the Kolkata Digha Road in East Midnapore district of West Bengal, India. It is almost 180 km from Kolkata. The Christian Island Red Crabs crawling around the 13 km long beach is a special attraction of Mandarmoni. It is believed to be the longest drivable beach in India. Geomorphologically, this area has relatively low waves than nearer tourist beach of Digha.
