We spent a lovely week at Nereides. The rooms are fabulous; spacious, modern, clean and very relaxing. The staff are all friendly and helpful; they will collect and deliver you to the ferry. There are two dining areas, one overlooking the pool and the other with beautiful views of the sea. We ate a lovely evening meal on arrival and enjoyed a good choice of cold and cooked breakfasts. You do need to be fit to climb up and down the steps to Patitiri but it helps walking off the lovely food. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Nereides and would happily return. Thank you!
Good surprise

We weren't expecting much of this hotel but instead it was an amazing surprise. The family who runs it is nice and very helpful. The room was very clean, not noisy at night. The breakfast was delicious with a lot of different choices. The hotel is located not that far from the port (around 5-10 minutes walk). We had a nice view from our balcony of the port and sea. Thank you very much for making our stay perfect in alonissos.

Just completed week 1 of my second stay here, the rooms are lovely , cleaned everyday and well appointed. I have a breath taking view over the sea from the balacony and a view of the charming pool at the front. This is a family run hotel and their are flowers everywhere. The hosts have a small holding which they use to supply their restaurant. The breakfast is varied and as fresh as it is possible to be.
Wonderful Hotel and Location

We recently spent a week at this lovely small family run hotel and really loved it. The hotel is rustic but with a contemporary twist to the rooms, and the pool is lovely and clean. The sheets and towels were changed every other day, had had a lovely clean soapy smell. The balcony was nice and sectioned off from the neighbours allowing privacy to sit out. The breakfast was very good with a selection of cooked, cold and bread/cake options, and Greek yoghurt and honey etc. The view from the front dining area was stunning, looking across the olive groves towards the sea below. The hotel is built high up from the town, and is a fair trek uphill and many steps, but to us it was worth it for the quiet location. Also, further uphill, about 40 minutes walk brought you to the old town, which is really beautiful and well worth a visit. Eating options for an evening meal are limited here if you wish to walk, but possible if you get a taxi back up from the port, with several good tavernas. However, the food at the hotel was superb, home cooked Greek fare, which was no more expensive than anywhere else. The owner proudly took us into his kitchen to show us an array of delicious dishes he had lovingly prepared to choose from. The local wine at the hotel was the best we tasted anywhere. A boat trip to the Alonnissos Marine Park is a must, and we were lucky enough to see dolphins swimming and diving alongside our boat. We stopped for three swim stops in the lovely warm sea, which was so nice. The staff at the hotel were lovely, really caring that you were happy and enjoying everything. We would definately recommend this hotel as a lovely very Greek retreat for a great holiday.
