Day staff were very friendly, stayed on Halloween night and when I arrived back around 3 am the lady working the night shift was very rude. Hotel is nice but very dated, felt like I was walking into a hotel in the 80’s. Very clean. Only reason it is a 4 Star is because it has a pool. Stay far away from jacuzzi if you are a women!! Definitely not worth the price.

Very central location, you can walk everywhere. Welcoming and helpful manager(Marc) and staff. Very clean. Would stay here again. The hotel serves only breakfast but there are many restaurants and cafés close by.

This hotel is very central in Nice close to the beach. It is very clean and tidy. On arrival you are made very welcome. The staff were very pleasant. The room we had was a reasonable size with its own coffee and tea facilities as well as a small table and chairs. The shower room was good but the toilet off of the room was small. The place was exceptionally clean.
The breakfast was disappointing.It was a cold buffet. You could have toast if required. Hot drinks were from two machines.The tables were of a cafe style with table cloths covered with a glass top.
There were no other meals available but you could order snacks and meals which would be ordered from a restaurant near by. These would have to be eaten in your room,
There were so many restaurants in Nice it did not seem necessary to stay in the hotel. It would have been better if we had had the choice of eating in the hotel. The breakfast room was only available for breakfasts.
The breakfast room was like a hall of mirrors. There were also many mirrors throughout the hotel.
There was a pool area. This was small. It was off the main reception area closed off by curtains.
The hotel was reasonably ok for a few days but I would have been disappointed if we had chosen this hotel to stay in for our summer holidays. There could have been several changes to make the hotel more homely such as the ability to have cooked breakfasts and perhaps limited evening meals.
The hotel was rated four stars. From my experiences of four star hotels on the continent this was probably only a three star. Not what we had expected.

We booked a family room (2 adults and 1 child) in this hotel over a long weekend in late October. The reasons for booking this hotel ranged from it being very close to the centre (near Avenue Jean Medecin), not far from the beach, as well as it boasting a 'spa'.
It was somewhat disappointing that the 'spa' area was really just an old indoor swimming pool (approx. 10m x 5m) with a small jacuzzi and sauna adjacent to it. The whole area is separated from the main reception with a curtain (???) meaning that going from the pool to your room involves you walking through the main reception to use the lifts.
The room we had was on the third floor, and from what I see now from other reviews, the part of the hotel that hasn't been renovated. It certainly felt that way, with dimly lit hallways and walls and carpets that had seen better days.
As to the room itself - it was perhaps modern back in the late 70's. The main bed (as well as the sofa bed our son used) were however, comfortable enough. The size of the room was fine for the three of us, and all amenities were functional, including the air-con, even if it was of the older variety. As you are in the centre, some noise from the outside is to be expected, but the window when closed, insulated it all away.
Overall, the hotel was fine for the short stay (we didn't spend much time in the room), and the staff made you feel welcome. The spa area was a bit of a letdown but we nevertheless used it with our son who enjoyed the pool.

We had to stay in Nice for an unplanned night. Scrambling at the airport to find a place for the night we searched Trip Advisor. This hotel had good reviews and a good price so we took a chance. We were greeted warmly at the front desk. We requested a higher floor and they accommodated us. The room was large and clean. Even though we were in the middle of the action noise was not a problem. We did not have breakfast here but the market is a five minute walk which is always a better choice than any hotel.
