Great location and value for money

If you are looking for a great location, value for money and friendly service, then this hotel is for you. We were upgraded to a newly renovated room which was simple but perfect as a base for travel around the Cote D'Zur. For Australians it lacked two things a fridge and kettle but these are less common in European hotels so we travel with our kettle.
The view from the terrace at night is good - great for a đ or đ·.
Excellent service

We stayed at Days Inn for 5 nights and it was a very pleasant experience. The staff was very service minded and helpful, the room was amazing (we stayed on the 4th floor with a private balcony) The breakfast was good and it was walking distance to restaurants, shopping and the beach.
Great customer service at Nicea Hotel

What stood out for me about the Nicea Hotel was the friendly and helpful staff, especially Francois on the front desk who went out of his way to help me with room/ flight rebookings during the British Airways mess during the May Bank holiday weekend. By the time I left (I stayed a week), I was glad I had stayed at the Nicea. It is very handy for the Nice-Ville railway station and around a 20 minute walk to the sea front. The tram down to the sea front is very easy to use. The rooms were a little spartan, although a good size but it is not an expensive hotel so that should be expected. I would advise asking for a quiet room on a higher floor as there seems to be no soundproofing unfortunately. People talking or walking up and down the corridors can be heard quite clearly during the night. A nice extra touch is the breakfast which seems to be unusual in the area without paying a supplement. The breakfast is small and mainly bread based things, but it is nice to have a small breakfast. Their breakfast breads and little mini croissants were lovely.
Friendly staff, small but spotless rooms, great location!

I am just home from 4 nights/5 days in Nice, during which time we stayed in Hotel Nicea. I was in the Rivera on a girls trip with my 2 Best Friends, we stayed in Room 304, which was small, but clean and comfortable. We loved the doors that opened, giving a cute view over Rue du Miron. You could hear traffic noise from the street and one evening we had slightly noisy guests in the room next to us, but nothing that caused too much disturbance.
The hotel is perfectly located, you're a 2 minute walk from the main shopping street, 5 mins from Gare SNCF, and less than 10 minutes from the beach and the Old Town. The location could not be better!
As for the staff, they were super friendly. Check in was quick and simple and the staff could not do enough for you, even holding our luggage free of charge after check out, so we could spend our last few hours in Nice, without having to trek around with our bags.
I'd definitely stay here again, and recommend the hotel to others.
Great location and staff.

This was our first stay at Hotel Nicea and first trip to Nice. The hotel proved perfectly adequate for our three-night stay. The location is excellent, being a short walk from the train station, close to numerous bars and restaurants and a walkable distance from the old town and beach. We didnât get back until past midnight on any day and felt perfectly safe walking through the area (although we were a group of four men).
The rooms were functional and clean. Bed linen and towels all clean and fresh. As picked up in some other reviews, the rooms were small â the bedroom being fairly tight when set up as a twin and the bathroom extremely compact (felt a similar size to a caravan bathroom!) Fine for us, as we used the hotel as a base and were out most of the time.
All the staff that we came across were very pleasant and helpful and couldnât have been better!
The free WiFi was fast, and didn't kick you off after a while, as in some hotels.
We didnât have any meals at the hotel. We found a great little coffee shop a five-minute walk away (Malongo CafĂ©) that we had breakfast at most days.
We were happy with our stay, although we did book online through a third party website and get the rooms at a discounted rate.
