The hotel is in a Good location if you have a car (somewhere in between hallstatt and Wolfgang see, so great for a Base in the salzkammergut area). The property is beautiful. Stayed for two nights - 2 room with a lovely balcony.

Our stay in Hotel Oase was successful. Rooms were clean and nice and staff was friendly. Breakfast was good: home made marmalade, fruit salad, warm breads, cheeses… There are two restaurants near by. We will go back to Hotel Oase if ever needing accommodation at that side of earth.

You need a car to enjoy your stay, because you are a little out of town. Suits travelers who are on their way to somewhere else and want a simple but nice place to stay - one to three nights. Nice walks in front of your door steps, free parking (otherwise rare in Bad Ischl) and conveniently located near the road to town. If they have enough guests, they serve a nice breakfast buffet. If not, you still get a nice breakfast but the bread was unfortunately not fresh when we were there. They offer free internet - in principle - but again, when we stayed there they could not get it to work. It kept asking for more passwords.... a little annoying, when you are planning your trip as you go and don't have the local SIM card for your phone or i-pad. Resume: nice B&B type of hotel, in the beautiful Salzkammergut!

This Hotel looks more like a Bed & breakfast:
- Staff very friendly and attentive
- Rooms big enough and we had view on the mountain!
- No problem to go to the therms if you have a car
- Breakfast fantastic!e
- Beds very confortable
