A lovely hotel with a beautiful pool. The beach is a few minutes walk across the beach is just across the road beautiful white sand you'd think you were in the Caribbean. The hotel food was excellent they've put the menu up every morning so you can see what you're having a wide righty of choice. The service very good at directing me to what was vegan and what was not. Perhaps because it was the end of season there wasn't very much going on in the hotel evening. Would like to go for a walk but unfortunately there isnt anything nearby..The town is about 30 to 40 minute walk away which is fine in the day but a bit too far to walk in the dark.

Excellent range of Italian food with meat grills, seafood, pasta, fresh salads and fruit and local cheeses and ice cream. A relaxing pool, great beach and beautiful town. We had a lovely holiday and enjoyed renting bikes from the hotel and cycling into Alghero. The service was good.

We stayed here for 1 week at the end of September. The hotel is very efficiently run in a relaxed way. The location is perfect just a 30 minute stroll into Alghero and minutes from beautiful beaches. The restaurant staff were all very friendly and again very efficient. The food was of a high quality and the hotel concentrates on providing fresh well cooked excellent ingredients rather than providing row after row of food sitting in heated containers. I would definitely recommend this hotel and will return next year.

I must agree with the previous reviewer. This is a lovely hotel, in a good location, a little distant from Alghero Old town, about a 45 minute walk, however a pleasant not taxing stroll. In respect of the meals, I don't know what others expect, caviar, lobster etc for breakfast, for us there was plenty of choice, yogurt, cereals, bacon. sausage plenty of different breads etc. Dinner although limited in choice was extremely well cooked, presented well, and always delicious. My wife who can be a little fussy, had no problems finding something from the menu, It made a pleasant change not to see the gluttony often associated with other buffet restaurants.
The hotel is spotlessly clean, staff pleasant and friendly. Sardinia is a most beautiful island, with plenty of activities to pursue.

Firstly don't let some reviews put you off this is a very well run hotel. We found the staff lovely especially vanda, the head waiter and the lovely lady at the poolside bar.
The breakfast was varied from cereals, fresh fruit, yoghurt, hot food including bacon, sausage, scrambled, fried or boiled eggs, 4 different types of bread, cold meats and cheese and salami and several cakes and pastries. How can anyone say the breakfast wasn't good?!
The evening meals were splendid and varied including soup, superb pasta dishes tasty and varied, fish and succulent meat choices and tasty potatoes in rosemary or with cheese - there was always a quality choice. Salad was always available. Again no reason not to rate the food as first class! A special mention to fantastic tiramisu, chocolate eclair and profiteroles.
All I can say is if you want chips and burgers then this is not the hotel for you.
There is an efficient and yet relaxed atmosphere in the hotel and for that a massive thank you to all the staff.
A special mention to the lovely cleaning team - again extremely efficient and polite and a great service.
The hotel had a busy week with the tennis crowd but standards were maintained.
The older chef who sang "summer time and your living is easy" was absolutely correct the team looked after us well and made our summer holiday by their hard work - Gracie tutti!!
The entertainment was ok. Low key our first week and more lively group the second week. However alghero town is nearby and generally people seemed happy with low key and getting up early to enjoy all that this lovely country has to offer.
I think the hotel is really lovely and I can understand why so many return.
