For those who think this is the best hotel near the Ghats, let me tell you, there is a better hotel and even closer to the ghats with better service and nice beds, larger rooms. And better restaurant.
This hotel was terrible. Poor service started from the bellboy who asked for money for talking my bags. The manager a skinny young guy was in a foul mood and was really unhelpful and rude. That went for the entire staff. They couldn't get their act together even though we booked in advance. The elevator was shocking. Didn't know if it was going to work or we were going to get stuck. The Beds were hard and extremely uncomfortable. Not even wide enough to call it a single bed. Poor quality blankets if you can call it that.
Bathroom was not clean. In very poor state. So were the rooms. Real dump. Can't open the windows, monkey problem.
Do not even go here. It maybe cheap but its nasty as well. Our travel guy said it was nice. Didn't know it was a cheap hotel.
Avoid. Not worth it.
As for the nicer hotel, it called Hotel Vibhav Harsh. And its way better. Look it up

Best hotel near temple and ghat. From hotel we can take cheaper rate auto or rickshaw to reach main temples for Varanasi. Ghat for batthing or ganga arthi is also near by along with market place. It located heart of city. Nice clean hotel

Neat and economical Hotel near to Temple .Just half a km to Temple , rooms are spacious , neat and comfortable.Good to stay with family. Even near to Ganga ghats where you can watch Harathi in the evenings

Helpful reception staff. Big room. Good food. Courteous room staff. Rickshahs available to temple and ghats all time of the day. 10 mins walk to temple and Dasaswamedh ghat. The reception arranged boat trip at very economonc rates with safe people

Very nice hotel, near to (less than a km) from Kasi Viswanatha Temple. Very Nice staff . Rooms are clean.But toilets need some maintenance. Overall a good value for money. No parking facility. Not used their food service , so no comment on that
