Had one night stay at Oyster. Good option if you are on a short visit and not looking for luxury. Booked through a website.When complimentary breakfast is normal in most hotels, it is not so in case of Oyster. Room was compact but neat and so is the toilet.Towels placed in bathroom are pale and stiff. Food appears to be overpriced.
Staff was courteous and helpful.
You may chose this hotel for its proximity to Sector 17 market and other tourist attractions in Chandigarh.

Our worst stay on our fabulous trip to India and we were very glad it was only one night. Room was clean and ok but no view, breakfast was appalling and we couldn't get out of there quickly enough. The city is not the most appealing but hotel was a shortish walk to centre with a very nice restaurant though walk was very dimly lit and a little scary.

I spent two weeks at the Oyster in September, 2016. Unfortunately the restaurant on the ground floor was under major remodeling, and at first I was placed in a room directly above the restaurant on the first floor. Hammering, drilling and assorted noise until 22:00 made it untenable. Room service was still available but seemed strained. The Hotel moved me to a larger room several floors up which I appreciated greatly, although the last day there, I had to move to another room as they had booked the nicer room. Very few of the staff speak English, but they generally go out of their way to be accommodating. This is the third time I have stayed at the Hotel Oyster and I will gladly stay there again if I am in Chandigarh.

Mesmerized by the rooms and the cleansiness, the staff were really very polite!! Enjoyed the stay here since it is one of the best in chandigarh city! The food was also very good and surely deserves a stay!

Stayed in this hotel for 2 nights. Location of this hotel is a big plus point. Rooms are neat and clean. Bathrooms are also neat and clean. The hotel is getting older and need some maintenance. Food quality is good and the variety offered in the package (MAP) was very limited. The restaurant service needs some attention.
