Our group stayed here for 3 nights while visiting the Tuscany area. The hotel has a quiet elegance that encourages you to relax and unwind. Plenty of places to stroll or sit outside to enjoy the magnificent views. The room I stayed in was large and simply furnished, emphasizing the rustic old world. Breakfasts were wonderful as was supper at the adjacent restaurant on the property. Staff extremely helpful.
The drive to this hotel from the Florence area is not for the faint of heart and I would not recommend attempting it after dark.

This was home base for trips to Florence, Siena and Lucca. A nice quiet change of pace after spending a day in these cities. Old but spacious rooms. overlooking the olive trees. A leisurely 15 - 20 minute walk down ta country road brings you to a small village where you'll find a few restaurants. The layout of the land tells me it must be beautiful during an October foliage as the hotel is situated on top of the hill onlooking the surrounding countryside. A grand estate is your next door neighbor.

We were staying with a group of parents who were travelling around Italy to accompany their kids performing in band around Italy.
This hotel was a beautiful place to stay and to live, if you could afford it.
Surrounded by Olive trees everywhere, on the hill with a fantastic view. The food was extraordinary, the service was very good.
The room was very very spacious, Italian style, and very clean. We even had local wine tasting with local green Olives, delicious.
Highly recommended.

I've been in This place for a wedding of a friend of mine. We stayed in an apartment in the old village of Artimino 10 min walk from the hotel. This village is just amazing like that you are living in the past while blending in modern comfort. The view is wonderful full of olives trees and magic landscapes. Quality of food and wine is really good if you want to escape from the city and spend a different weekend this is a place worth to visit!

On arriving we were welcomed by a very friendly lady Ciara, who had some good news for us, because we were upgraded to an apartment with some more space, and with a great view. Curios as we were, she did not said anything to less. What a great apartment in local style, being part of the beautiful, typical Tuscany town Artimino, and the view was amazing. The apartment had all you amenities needed, a great bed, and the pool at the hotel was great too, with again, a fantastic view. In a beautiful building separate from the hotel, breakfast was served, sitting on the terras outside, and it was awesome, with fresh bread, croissants, several pies, and the service of the staff was great. We stayed in an apartment which is not at the hotel, but about 400 mm away. So for breakfast, you need to take the car or take a walk, but the walk is so relaxing with the view. Ciara gave us also great advise about cities and places to go. Thank you so much for your friendliness. The 3 restaurants in Artimino serve great food, and the ice cream shop serves delicious Italian ice cream. We stayed 6 days here, and definitely will return here. We fell in love with the location built on 2 hills and an extraordinary view and very helpful staff, who make your stay warm and very welcome. Thank you so much.
