Visited in July 2017 with my 13 year old son. On arrival the check in staff were friendly and very helpful, and spoke perfect English. Our room was clean and tidy, with air con, and a balcony - overlooking the road but I could have paid extra for a pool view but I knew we wouldn't be in the room much so didn't see the point. We stayed bed and breakfast and the choice was exceptional, covered all nationalities tastes and there was always tables available. Again the waiting staff were all very friendly. The pool was a freshwater pool and a good size - not suitable for diving though as it isn't that deep.....as one poor fellow found out ! There's still the old 'putting towels on beds' going on. For example we came down to the pool at about 10.30am and most of them were 'taken'. We had our lilos to lie on so we weren't that bothered, but had spotted two beds with a parasol and table which we still empty an hour and half later. Some other English guests said that a Spanish family had placed their towels on there at 9am and vanished. I took the towels off and used the beds myself. The Spanish family didn't return until 5pm !! Disgraceful. so just keep this in mind, there are signs stating that towels will be removed by staff but they don't do this so you end up doing it yourself and potentially end up having an argument !! The bar staff on the evening were great and the night time entertainment was the usual fayre. The location of the hotel was perfect, a two minute walk to the marina where all the restaurants and shops are. I loved this hotel and would definitely return, one of the main reasons being that it was filled with couple and families - no groups! There are no nightclubs nearby so I think it puts them off staying!

Went last week in October. Weather was excellent but much of the pool was in shade. The hotel was nice for a 3 star. Pool area very pretty and nice outside bar area. Dining staff were attentive and food very nice except the machine coffee at breakfast which was cheap and nasty quality. One machine got refilled with better coffee which proved it could have had better offered all along. Entertainment was entertaining. The beach was a 5 min walk and excellent. The marina right across but was tacky and resembled a revamped ex fairground. Shops and resturants rubbish and you get hasseled non stop by the same people doin promo for their average resturants. Boat trip was fun on the 'Black Pearl'. Hotel nice enough to spend time at to avoid the marina tho!

Better than expected ..this was a last minute booking. The hotel was very clean and the staff were always willing to help. Location was good unless you have walking difficulties. The food was very good and there was an amazing selection ...something for everyone! Dinner was a bit hectic perhaps more staff would have helped. I would certainly return to this hotel.

Excellent proximity to Marina/ beach/shops & restaurants. Fabulous for walks or cycling. Plenty to se & do. Comfortable & clean rooms with adequate shower room. Just came B&B... Buffet poorly laid out eg drinks machine in one area, milk in another, and tea bags in yet another.... Why not all in same place??? Bit of a pain! Juices very watery, not refreshing at all.

This was my and my husband's second visit to this hotel, having visited 4 years ago initially. The hotel is in a great location right by the marina which hosts some nice restaurants and bars etc and is a short walk to beaches on either side of the marina. The hotel is typical in that it is tired and dated and in need of a re-furb. We found the staff to be unhappy and in great need to go for smile lessons. We found the cleanliness of the rooms to be very much below standard - our balcony was never cleaned once during our two week stay, our room was very smelly after it was cleaned daily and in fact we had to pick lots of hairs from our bedroom floor each day after it was cleaned. It appears that the maids do not change the water much and hence the room was being washed with dirty water and which constituted in it smelling like old feet. The pool area, although we did not go there, seemed to have sufficient sunbeds and plenty of areas to sit out. The food was ok but did lack imagination. It was odd to be the first down to breakfast and the food was already cold ?? At times there was no labels on the food so you did not know what some dishes were. The restaurant was chaotic and there no where near sufficient tables and chairs for all guests to eat at certain times and the queues down to meals were the worst we have ever experienced. We usually had a couple of beers with our evening meal and were charged different prices on different days for the same drinks. However one day upon leaving the restaurant the lady taking the money tried to charge us for different drinks than our "chitty" stated we had, asking for 8 euros when we only owed 3.80 euros. She tried to say that the drinks ticket backed up what she was asking for, although we had already checked that it did not. So not sure why she was trying to charge more that night? The hotel's evening entertainment team consisted of two males who had the right personality for the job and it was typical 3 star entertainment. The bird show however was disappointing as the actual show lasted about 30 minutes but the time they took to charge people for photos afterwards was way longer - they were obviously only there to take money (not that we agreed with bird shows in any event). The hotel was due to close the day after we left and we found it extremely bad that a week before they were due to close they started to run out of some alcohol and also ice !! At the start of the holiday they were putting more ice in than drink and at the end you were limited to one piece of ice! We stayed half board but you can stay all inclusive. However if you do go AI only certain drinks are included and which means that you could end up paying for your alcohol if you don't like their choice. Cocktails are always charged for despite only local spirits being used. This hotel is a 3 star hotel and we would agree - it could however be better in some areas (cleanliness for example). We would return again at some point.
