Hotel Panorama is modern and spacious in a more modern, quieter part of Cagliari. Easily accessible by any transport from the central train station. Resto is good w/ excellent service. Bathrooms are modern and well equipped. No satelite TV that I could find.

After an initial misunderstanding about the facilities we had requested,everything was sorted out quickly and efficiently. After two days we requested a move to a room with a sea view which was accommodated also efficiently and with a smile.
All the staff were friendly and very helpful and the hotel was beautifully clean.
The hotel is located midway between the Poetto beach and the old town, which very walkable but there is a regular bus service to each.
The swimming pool is great and kept well.
Breakfast in the top floor restaurant was good though the scrambled eggs were not very warm and the toaster took a while to toast.
I would recommend it

The hotel is in good position near public transport and there a good private parking.
The staff are always welcome, professional, helpful and friendly.
The room was really clean, big enough and with a great wiew.
The breakfast buffet on the top of the building with a beautiful wiew of the sea was good with everything and with italian coffee.
The hotel has a nice swimming pool.

We stayed at the Panorama Hotel for 8 days. The room is pretty decent and comfortable for two people, the bathroom is quite big. The outside pool is the best feature.
The people at the reception have very limited English skills which complicates the communication, and not all of them are nice.
They claim the rooms are soundproof, but you can hear your neighbour flush the toilet.
The wifi coverage is very poor, if you are staying on the upper floors, you can barely get a signal.
Restaurant, bar & pool staff are lovely.
A lot of seminars are organised there, and it is moreso a family hotel, not great for groups of friends.
Overall I think this 4 star hotel should really be a 3 star one.

Terrible staff, in particular the two older men that work at the reception, my partner walked upto the reception and the phone went and the receptionist answered the phone call instead of dealing with my partner at the front desk. The toilet room smelled of smoke and when I complained about this, they told me to smoke outside and when they understood my query they only offered me a spray for the room. I have worked in a 4 star hotel and as a former 4 star hotel staff member you need to offer free drinks at the least to an unhappy customer, we did not even get an apology. Whoever rated this hotel is on drugs or does not know what the meaning of being a 4 star hotel actually possesses. I understand Italians and work life is laid back more than most parts of the world however this hotel offers the opposite of good customer service
