Fantastic location. Decent breakfast, Good rooms. Great value for money 3 star facilities in less than 3 star prices. Rooms are good with all facilities available. Ideal for a short business trip for a few days.

This was the worst choice ever. I am currently checked in here and its full of bad management. First I checked in early and they are charging heavily for that. Secondly, since my early check in for which I am paying them, I consistently am telling them that the AC is not cooling at all. They came and sent their EXPERT, all stating same thing that AC is working. I told them its not about whether it is working or not, its whether it is cooling! It is moronic for them to not understand the difference. I called for restaurant, they said they are servicing at 3.30pm, went there and came to know that they lied. Now I am paying for something which I didnt expect. At then end how come you charge for a couple of hours early check in and dont deduct for 18 hrs early check out!. Anyways, I am here for a business deal and will be coming to Bangalore very often. I promise never to return/recommend/ suggest this S**t place to any of my contacts or company guys. I am blacklisting them in my company so that no one else has to suffer like me. Its bad management or incompetent people running the place. Anyways, I m checking out to a nearby better place. Hope they close down soon, unless they improve there management. Tripadvisor should not keep them in their list of places to stay.

Nice and spacious room. courteous staff. Clean wash room. Tasty North Indian Thaali. But the hotel provide only 250 MB complimentary data which is not good, now a days. Hotel should improve in this area.

The washroom was smelling. The food is not good at all.
However, the hotel takes a good care of single travelling female guests.
The hotel is in a very good location near to MG Road.
The room was near to lift which is good for solo travellers.

I booked Hotel Paraag for what I thought was a nice price of Rs.1800 per night through Agoda.com . The night before my flight, while randomly checking, I discovered that the hotel had cancelled my reservation and agoda.com had not informed me.
The agoda.com helpline had a foreigner on it - he was helpful but there was a sinking feeling that this man would not be able to resurrect a cancelled booking. True to expectation, I was told that the Hotel could not honor the rate that I booked at through agoda.com and had cancelled my reservation !
The helpline man first gave me a choice of two alternative bookings on two other Hotels for the same price - which was not as great as it sounds because I found those two hotels listed at less than Rs.1800 online.
Then the agoda.com helpline stayed bus and I had to email them to cancel the booking.
i landed up at the Hotel Paraag and made them a offer they could not refuse. I said I would wait at he front desk till someone vacated a room and would they allot that room to me at the rate I had booked (Rs.1800+) ? Strangely, they gave me a room for Rs.1500 (with taxes, it came to Rs.2000 total). This leaves me totally confused - if they were going to give me the room at a rate less than my original booking, why did they cancel me at all ?
I never found out.
But Hotel Paraag was not 3-star as advertised. I would rate it as 1-star. The towel on the bath stand was dirty as if someone had mistakenly put the footmat there..
The best feature was its central location and the fact that my meeting was scheduled in the Ground Floor of the Hotel that day - so I saved hugely on time and taxi fare by staying in the Hotel and just walking down to my meeting room. Nothing can beat THAT convenience.
Food (lunch buffet) was good.
