Their hotel rooms were average in amenities. Cleanliness was as usual maintained all thanks to their nice staffs for maintaining. Location is very good and easliy accessible for vehicles. Service was good and facilities were also good.

Don't waste your money by staying over here.

I booked the hotel for 15th jan 2016 online
Arriving at the hotel @ 11 am I had word with the boss of the hotel as my checking time was 12 pm, So the boss of the hotel told me to pay 30% of the room charge if I want the hotel room 1 hr before the checking time. So I had to wait for an hour. Exterior looks good but entering in the room you feel Unhygienic room, bathrooms and stained bedsheets.
Call the staff for cleaning the room they reply that batch will come later and no one comes. apart from very small rooms.
Call the staff 4 time for t.v not working.
Call the staff 6 times for hot water not coming.
Horrible Boss and staff with no answers...
Tell all this to the boss of the hotel, he say that in this much money u will get this much only.

Decent with shortcomings

So good things first:
1)We were two young women travellers,so safety wise, hotel seemed pretty ok.
2)check-in-check out was 24 hrs from time of arrival. and not that stupid system of 12-12 or something like that.
3)Bathroom fittings were really nice with fresh white good flowing water from the taps and shower although the shower curtain was really dirty
4)We stayed for 2 days..and the beddings were changed once even without asking.
5)The manager was cooperative and okay .
6)Its in the market..near XISS college so it was okay for us but market around was not that great.Just small shops,hawkers,traffic and was a nightmare to step out of the room.
7)I requested the attendant to warm my food once again plz and he did it.

Now the worst:
1)Not a great location-Capitol Hill is in much better location with malls,restaurants beside. We felt like caged in that area since other than ant-speed moving manual rickshaw there is not much option for you to travel in roasting temperatures of Ranchi.Shared auto-richshaws are available but they are really tough ppl.
2)FOOD - Since we were caged in the room,with really no sensible mode of safe and smooth transportation,no eat-worth restaurants nearby, we ordered food three times for 2 days from the hotel...and MY MY...my sister went mad.

First of all , Quantity - for a dal tadka) worth 60 and. ,jeera rice worth rs. 60,the quantity is such that only one person can eat. I went to kaveri restaurant,with a FAR better quality with dal worth tadka worth Rs. 120, two ppl had lunch and even packed the left over which we could use at night. Maggi - a 15 rs. packet was charged 40 rs. and steamed rice for 1 - Rs. 50!!!

Quality -
NEVER in my life have i eaten Mix vegetable tasting like a chicken gravy. WE ordered Mix veg and what we got was somewhere small mashed two florets of gobhi,some potato in bark brown onion garlic heavy coarse gravy. I wondered if i am having veg or non veg.
Other time we ordered, aloo tomato - the curry had the same mix, so basically they only have one way of making vegetables.
Palak Panner was okay but had aritificial green color becoz of which my sister got allergy.

Variety:

Very very limited options,scared of the same brown onion heavy gravy in vegetable irrespective of what we order..we took long time to decide..and zeroed down on the same at the end.

3)Waiters:/Attendants:

Okay now, they were okay in the sense that they warmed out food again and humbly brought whatever time we ordered BUT PRIVACY ??? oh my god!

They will bang your door till you open, try to open the latch(if you have not locked god save you!), rush inside the room straight and while keeping the tray,,,,,observe the room 360-720 degree that what you are upto,what were you doing,what you have on table,what you are going to do and all...They literally used to rush inside our room even if they want to ask you a thing.

WIFI : WIFI WIFI : No connection for the two days when we stayed. we were in so desperate need of internet , we requested, he said tomorrow it will come, after 2 hrs, it will but we could never use the wifi facility even though they must be charging in their total tariff for that.

We payed 3000 inr for 2 days for and 2000 for "1 katori quantity" food everytime for 2 days which seems quite expensive with nosy waiters ,bad location,limited variety and screwed wifi facility. May be you get a better hotel though it seemed safe for girls.(except the hyperactive intruding waiters!!!)

Not so bad...not that great!

Good Budget Hotel - Great Location, Clean Room, Courteous Staff

I'm just back from a short trip to Ranchi. I booked this hotel after much deliberation as I wanted to stay on Main Road close to the market. The hotel is quiet economical, rooms are clean, the front desk and room service staff was very courteous and I didn't have any issues with my stay.

I originally booked for 2 days but returned after 1 day as I wrapped up my work early. The hotel did not charge me for the 2nd night either and they were very helpful in arranging cab at a reasonable fare.

I stayed for 4 days in that hotel and they did not provided any complimentary breakfast or any water bottle per day although they charge 999/day which is not bad for Ranchi also they should provide some internet connection as I think as this is a basic condition now a days
