Every town and city has its own central place where all sorts of stuff are available. For Shillong, its police bazaar locally called as PB. If u stand at the centre point of PB, you can view the hotel Pegasus. So no difficulty in finding the hotel. So if you want to enjoy the nature of Meghalaya staying not in an isolated place, the location of the hotel is best. It's also safe. You'll easily get cabs for transfer to Guwahati on shared basis till Guwahati railway station. Also, you'll easily get a cab both private and shared from Guwahati railway station to police bazaar. Just get down at Central point of police bazaar and hotel is nearby. Ambience and behaviour of the staff is nice. Expect little delay in room service. Rooms are ok but no close by scenic beauty. Food is good. I must appreciate the complimentory breakfast that they provide. It includes hell lot of items and you can choose whatever and how much you want to eat. They have their own bakery too. I have booked a cab from hotel for local sightseeing for three days costing me Rs.8500. The driver named Vicky was really a good and friendly chap. Overall a memorable stay in Hotel Pegasus Crown.

Hotel Pegasus Crown is centrally located in Police Bazar. It is a very good hotel. Room was large enough and the service was really good. The breakfast which they provide had many options and the food was damn tasty. Daily newspaper in the room was a bonus! The service was very prompt and they took care of all my requests like providing early breakfast etc. I really enjoyed my stay there.

Not at all value for money. Avoid this hotel.
It is mentioned as a 3 star hotel on booking sites but in reality it is a disgusting hotel. Front desk staff is rude and very hostile. They don't listen to you and telling you to ask the booking site through which you have came. They don't considered you as a guest.
Room # 109 toilet was a mess. It is too congested , dirty and damaged. You feel like you are using sulabh shauchalya (Public toilet)
Cleanliness is major issue over there. Bed linen, curtains & upholstery is very bad and dirty.
Common area is also very dirty. they don't take used utensils from room and if you asked them multiple times they will put them outside your door. You can seen used liquor bottle lying in common area.
Room service is very poor. at first place they always deny you for the service. Bed tea is only available by 8 o' clock. at the same time buffet breakfast is available till 9 o' clock. Such a short window for breakfast.

Hotel is easily accessible from police bazar area and you can get taxis near to this hotel . Rooms were big and clean . But the furniture was old and somehow not very clean. Bathroom was nice but small . Food was great specially the breakfast . Overall it was a pleasant stay there

I stayed here for 2 days and here is my feedback about this hotel
Positive points
1:Very near to main market (police bazaar)
2:Parking available
3:ambience of dining room better
Negative points
1: No proper sanity check of room before allocation: room allocated to me was filled in with cigarette smell when I checked in
2: No arrangements of water bottle , tea bags etc before check in: When I asked for same I got a call that it'll be provided by 7PM
3: Rude staff/Owner: Water bottle was filled in with tap water, when I enquired same, hotel owner said, staff must have enquired with you if u need packaged or RO purified... I told her no body asked moreover atleast water bottle is what a guest expect minimum when he check in - her reaction was "Arre bottle de do inko" no sign of sorry
4: Toilet very small and seriously required renovation
5: sockets are broken from many places and spark a lot when you try to put your phone or any other charger.
6: No arrangements for cleaning room if you are staying for more than a day
7: Chef doesn't check if food served to you is at quality or not and yes if you return something, replacement would never come back.. It's like what we served was the last thing..
Conclusion : Horrible experience
