its a budget hotel but not a good place to stay at Shimla. location is not good. you have to climb for the Mall Road and kalibari. and the services and amenities are not good provide by the hotel. i had stayed there in a family suit the rooms ware average bathrooms are ok. there was a nice garden with the hotel n they have a good view from there roof

I was stayed at this hotel in the month of March, 2017. That was the my first visit of shimla. I was travelled with tour agency. Hotel location is good, it's 10minutes walking distance from mall road. There is a shortcut way. But be careful because there are lots of monkeys. So don't carry any foodable items openly and when you stay in hotel room or not don't keep your window open.
From hotel desk you can get taxi against 150 rupees. At shimla mall you can purchase jackets, caps at reasonable cost. You can buy wooden articles from LakkerBazar which is near to mall.

I stayed at this hotel in june 2017 n it was a packed season.
V booked a room for rs 1310 per nite.
The porter at the reception wer telling among themselves not to pick our luggage as we had booked a cheaper room.
Moreover the room was absolutely untidy with leaking basin, no working tv n lack of sufficient light.
The three moron receptionists doesnt knw how to greet or talk to the guests.
Plz go to this hotel at ur own risk.

HotelPineview is a very good budget hotel at shimla. Mall is just 8-10 min walking distance. Room condition is pretty good. Every room has a balcony with pinevally facing. Hotel also have own parking place. Lift is also available.

I have stayed here around 15 days in total in 3 years, food is one of the reason I prefer this. I have no complaint about food at all. Room service is quick enough and there room differ a lot from one to another. Make sure you check it before settling in it.
Overall a nice budget hotel to stay.
Room are not fancy but basic amenities are there. And another good thing is it is walking distance from railway station as well as mall road.
