I stayed at this hotel as a final day after completing an Intrepid tour. Rooms were very clean, showers were hot and the fans/air con worked. They were doing renovations on a lower level but this didn't affect my stay at all. The front desk staff were helpful. I left fairly early and the front desk is manned full time. I had a room facing onto the park and I didn't notice too much noise. Wifi worked quite well also.

My friend and I stayed at this hotel twice during our trip to India. The staff were friendly and welcoming they allowed us to leave our bicycles bags with them free of charge for 3 weeks during our trip to our India.
During our second stay they went out if their way to find us a room despite being fully booked. I would highly recommend this hotel if you are looking for somewhere reasonably priced and welcoming during your stay in Delhi.

Pooja Palace is a great way for westerners to get used to India. They all speak some english, you can order a meal and have it on the rooftop, and the shower was the best we had in India. Our room was in the middle of the building, so no window, but no noise!

We stayed here at the begining and end of our Intrepid Tours. This hotel is a basic place to stay. The showers were mainly cold, the power kept going off and the renovations were noisy, starting early in the morning. The staff were very accommodating, nothing was too much trouble. Breakfasts were good and the proximity to restaurants was great. Leaving at 4am there was staff to see us off. Would recommend as an overnight bed. Long term I would look for a more upmarket place to stay.

I stayed in Pooja Palace as part of an organised tour. The location is excellent: one street back from the bustling Karol Bagh markets and metro. The room service food I ordered was good and fast. I did not dine at the inhouse restaurant. The room was relatively clean (the floor had not been swept or mopped when I arrived and there was grit and dirt underfoot which is never good); but otherwise the bed was comfortable, the linen clean, the room was quiet and airconditioned and the bathroom had good hot water and water pressure. The staff handled the luggage and there is a lift. I'd stay again for the location and service.
