Pics from web site are accurate. New or modern hotel. 2 bedroom suite for family of 4 worked well. Loved kitchenette and frig. Because no dishwasher though dishes were grimy from prev guests. Gross ! Highly recco ! Free parking a big plus. True staff is small and neighborhood not great but that is par for course.

Great base to visit area

The hotel is located about 5 minutes walk from the station. I had emailed the hotel to check on directions from Naples airport which made it easy to locate. The hotel staff on reception were extremely helpful and very friendly. The room was large, very clean and towels changed daily. The only downside was no facility in the room to make a hot drink which would have been very welcome. The restaurant is lovely with views over the sea towards Capri. The breakfast was very nice and lots to choose from. We used the restaurant for evening meal on two occasions. There was a good choice and not expensive for 3 course meal with wine. The food was lovely and we were served on the first occasion by Nio and the second time by Antonio who was a delight. They both chatted and told us a little about themselves while they were waiting on us. The area of Torre del Greco is a little tired looking but is a good base to use for visiting the area.

So we had read up on the reviews for this hotel which were mostly favourable. Sadly we felt it was running on a skeleton staff. We arrived Monday morning having attempted transfer by public transport which was an adventure foir us.The lobby was very dim, many lights not working which we thought could be "environmentally aware". Check-in was good and we were upgraded to a suite This is probably because the place seems to be cater more for corporate stays so these guests were booked into the better block which overlooked the sea (sort of). Our first impression was favourable, except for one of the lights in the bathroom not working, the hairdryer not working and there was not a kettle on the base which was plugged in on the desk. All reported pronto, and reception gave me a lovely hairdryer, the kettle came the following day, although we did then have to point out we would also require cups!! The lighting was never fixed by the time we left on Saturday by which time we realised this could be why the lobby was so poorly lit. There was a bar, but it was never manned, and so there was never any buzz which was quite sad as the décor in full swing could have made it quite relaxing. Again on one occasion I had used the bathroom in reception and reported that were no hand towels in the dispenser. The lady receptionist just stared at me and said she would report to housekeeping. I waved my wet hands and asked what I should do now, but she shrugged and returned to her paperwork. The saving grace for us for the whole of the week, was a dear waiter in the restaurant, Anthonio was most obliging and friendly. His service was exemplary. He made us feel very special. Guiding us to "special dishes" which were probably left over from the corporate dinners, but we did not care. The food was tasty nonetheless. Breakfast, not so good, and no variation whatsoever. To summarise- it was a very comfortable & clean place to lay our heads, a good base for visiting Erculano, Sorrento, Capri & Rome. This we did for the day by using the high speed train (185mph) which was worth the £150 fare. We also found the immediate area o be extremely filthy, with streets full of rubbish and nobody cleared up after their dogs. A return visit would be to another area. This is more to the standard of a Premier Inn and not 4*

Moderns hotel plenty of light, full ample baths, good breakfast, free and safe parking, kind staff. Because we stayed late April, could get a very good rate. Good point to drive to Sorrento, Pompey and Vesubio, or take the train to Naples. Train station is less than five minutes walk. I read some bad comments about the area, but all Naples and surroundings are alike, so forget bad comments and just take the usual cautions for big cities. Walking to the pier you will find some good places to eat fresh seafood.

we loved this hotel. we chose it because of it's location and the fact it had good reviews. i do wonder if we were very lucky with timing because the streets outside are very small and we had a car. this wasn't an issue because the carpark was not full. the carpark is a bonus because the streets are so small cars get banged in to a lot. it was nice to have somewhere safe for us to park. there was a convention the last day and it took us 25 minutes to get out of the carpark.

the hotel itself was lovely. we got an upgrade to a suit. this had a wonderful view and it made relaxing in the evening very pleasant. it was clean and light. we were actually worried about leaving for the second part of the journey because the next hotel may not be as good as this one.

the local area is very nice and you just go out of the hotel turn left then left again to get to a great gelato shop. we had an icecream and sat and watched the sea every night. further down are some nice restaurants if you like fresh fish.

it's close to the shops and we even walked to Herculaneum from here in just over half an hour.

breakfast was very tasty, tea, some tiny hot-dogs and scrambled egg in croissants, yogurt and fruit. i liked it. the view from the restaurant window is beautiful.

the price was very good, and we did not have any noise issues at all. the beds are comfortable. and you get free wifi. there is a lift to the rooms. we also had a fridge.

the staff are also very lovely, helpful and speak very good English.
