What People are saying

very neat!

ItalyAgent on 02/09/2017 13:47

Nice place. Good price & great customer service. Very clean. Comfortable bed. Close to the thermal treatments. Food provided for breakfast, at lunch or dinner is very tasty. Highly recommended location.

An optimist would say Nice 70ties retro look

Willy B on 11/04/2017 21:27

The hotel is at the end of a quiet cul the sac. Tourist class hotel, the seventies look is caused by the fact that not much has been done to upgrade or renovate since the seventies. The TV's are small CVRT tv's (in my room anyway) that have an anti-theft cable attatching them to the room, a rather weird idea since it is impossible to give these things away and in most places in Europe you have to pay money to get rid of them. The people are friendly enough and the place is nice and clean but they could do with a torough renovation.

Bad food

anonimussssxxx on 20/09/2016 08:35

We were there as a couple, with a group of 22 people. Rooms were clean but dated, shower is so small you need to leave doors open to wash your hair, and that causes fload in the bathroom. Other parts od hotel are literally falling apart...

Also, in the lobby, for most of the time, there was a huge dog, and we weren't very comfortable walking pass...

And then we are coming to the food. We had breakfast and dinner at the hotel. Both were terrible...

For the breakfast we got brioshe - some kind od the mixture between bagel and croassaint, bread and some cookies with selection of fruit spreds...there wasn't even enough of food for all of us in that miserrable food choices we had.

The dinner for all three days we had tasteless cheap soups, some kind of cheap pasta as a "primo piatti", and for main dish we had some kind of a pork meat that was so thin sliced - like the salami in the shops! Also, with a few slices of potatoes drowned in oil :/. I even think that for the second night they gave us some kind of salad with the leftover meat from the day before...

Hopefully, this bad food in hotel didn't manage to leave bad taste overall on this beautiful part od Italy...and we are coming back for sure, just not in the same hotel ... Overall, there is over a 130 hotels in the same place to choose from.

Promising but disappointing....

We stayed in this hotel for two nights in July 2012. The external appearance was outstanding because the infrastructure is definetely big, very well finished, well placed within Chianciano (remind that if you like to walk into the town you should be prepared to "climb" back to the hotel because it is at the end of a very steep slope) and full of common space available. The hotel is in a very calm area, ideal for relax and has a nice and clean swimming pool.
Unfortunately the room was not exactly what we were expecting because although it was generally clean had hidden dust in almost every small corner or space, a too small bathroom, a TV set not properly working and the air conditioner broken (of some notice that I was ensured on the phone some days before my arrival that the air conditioner was up and running); the furniture of the room had some clear usury signs, windows were old and with broken locks, it was almost impossible to have a mild shower because it jumped from hot to ice in a sec, the refrigerator was empty and broken.
On the other hand, the bed was perfect with a big and comfortable mattress.
We had only one dinner in the hotel because it was included in the coupon we bought and I have to say that it was very good, good food and outstanding service in a beautiful location. On the other side, breakfast has been horrible and to be honest I have never seen something like that
The location is dirty, a prehistoric coffee machine was available, I have seen spiders on the walls, creased table clothes and tasted dry and unflavoured croissants, discount yougurt and industrial biscuits; Cups for cereals were not clean and cutlery was very old and scratched. No service or waiters were available.

If you have seen any bad reviews about this hotel then ignore it totally

Lidiagayfulina on 22/09/2011 20:16

If you have seen any bad reviews then ignore it totally. I had a wonderful stay and thoroughly recommend this delightful hotel. The staff was wonderful and very helpfull. The room wasn't really big, but there was enough room to move around. Towels were changed every day.
The food is excellent and plentiful.
Located in a quiet part of town. The location was perfect if you want to visit Florence or Siena, since this resort town is usually a good start to explore Tuscany.
