Stayed in this hotel for 3 nights and 4 days on our visit to Sikkim. We were a family of five thus took 2 rooms which were provided at the third floor. There were no elevator facility thus extremely challenging a task for my parents to take to the stairs each time and that too when the stairs are so very steep.
The rooms provided beautiful view of the roads and hotels opposite to us but could not view the Himalayan range as its not located at the prime position. Thus I would suggest to take a hotel at M.G.Road and not at the bylanes unless all others hotels out there are brimmed. One of our rooms lacked the basic ventilation facility to escape the toilet smell. After complaining about it,the aged cranky manager answered that he had complained the owner of the hotel many a times to which he provided a deaf ear to invest in its maintenance.
Food was expensive in the hotel though it was generosity of the hotel boys who provided food each time in our rooms at the top climbing all the stairs and that too with wholesome dinner for five of us.. but extremely late service and after ordering each time had to go on giving them reminders calling via telecoms provided in the rooms...
They said its a veg and that too a Jain hotel and tourists are not allowed to get non-veg food inside it...but when we ordered mixed vegetable for my diabetic father, the hotel seemed to provide only potatoes in the mix even though we all know Jaini foods do not comprise of rooted vegetables like potatoes..
Overall a very poor choice of hotel we had unfortunately made on our trip as had booked it online where they presented appealing photographs of rooms which is far from factual truth..

It is a Decent hotel, and feel as value for money. Stayed for 4 nights and below are the pros and cons. Hotel is at Prime location and just a couple of minutes walk to MG Road, where most of the shops / bazaar / food counters are accessible. Hotel is neat and well maintained. And room service is also good. Food at Restaurant is fine. The only problem i could say is, No parking for vehicles.

It's a good hotel to stay.. Staff's are good.. Food is also good but it's pure veg.. So it might upset the non vegetarians ( like me, but not to worry MG market's street food zindabad...) The main bonanza is, it's a 5 min walking distance to MG market....

but you don't get valley facing view from any room.
but rooms are quite good for stay & fit with your pocket budget

It is very close to MG Marg and is also easily accessible from other places. Room and bathroom were clean. There was always someone or the other present at the travel desk to assist us in booking travel packages at reasonable prices. The behavior of staff especially hotel manager Pandey ji is worth mentioning. The only thing I would like them to work on is washing the blankets more frequently.
