I couldn't put more than average, because the room could be really better. Especially the bathroom, that is rundown and should be renovated. Other than that, the location is perfect, on the beach and very friendly staff.

We are currently touring Andulucia and booked into this lovely little hotel for 7 Nights.We enjoyed our stay very much even though we had to leave early because of family illness. The room was very clean and had plenty of space. The staff were very helpful and friendly. A delightful little hotel for our stay in Zahara. I would recommend to friends and family.We were able to walk everywhere so left the car parked and enjoyed the many restaurants and bars in the village.

With a peaceful setting, direct access to the beach, and a location in the heart of Zahara de los Atunes, this hotel is PERFECT for my family. I have stayed here many times over the years and love the atmosphere. The staff is always friendly and the hotel is gorgeous! The architecture of the hotel is beautiful and to stay here is a fantastic value. We loved the breakfast and the excellent service. The location is the best in the town and it was very easy to walk with my 3 children (all under 11 years old) from the hotel to anywhere we wanted to go...the beach, through the beautiful town, the castle, the church, and restaurants. It is nice to be so close to the beach and to all the local restaurants and bars and still have peaceful and quiet nights for rest. This is a very difficult thing to find and Pozo del Duque has it! I recommend this hotel and will continue to return to this spot in paradise with my family!

Had stayed in Zahara a number of years ago and always wanted to return so took a few days out of our trip to Marbella and travelled back to this wonderful part of Spain. It really is a lovely area. Arrived with no reservation and booked in for two nights which was all they could do and spent the next two nights up the road at the Hotel Porfirio. The first night our room was just on the roadside which was not too exciting but the next day they moved us to a higher room with pool and sea view which was much better and brighter. The hotel is very well located right in the centre of town which is great for restaurants in the evening and also is almost on the beach, the only downside being that they have no beds or umbrellas at this location. We ended up going up the road to the Hotel Antonio where they had plenty of beds and a fabulous restaurant. We will certainly stay there the next time for that reason. (They were booked out). We only had breakfast in the hotel which was pretty basic and we wanted to have dinner but having waited until 9.30pm there were still no diners so ended up going out where there was a great choice of restaurants in walking distance. When we returned the hotel restaurant had closed for the night so obviously weren't too busy. Anyway its a friendly hotel which isn't any more than its three stars but the location is excellent.
