Hotel Puerta de la Luna in Baeza is situated in the old part of the small city. In fact it is a nice spot, and the idea is nice. But a few things were old fashion, there was a smell around the elevator, diner in the restaurant was not very special, breakfast was a disappointment and the breakfast room was more an office-space. The room was nice, and clean. The receptionist welcomed us and answered our questions, but that was all, and the same two days later when we left.
Maybe in summer the hotel is better but now, end of October is was not special.
Finding the hotel is an adventure, leaving the small street with your car is even more.

Historic building, renovated spacious rooms in heart of old town. Great price, pool, chairs, we had a great stay. Highly recommended me the hotel has a restaurant next door. Great courteous service and attention.

Well appointed quiet room. Positioned on top of hill close to cathedral & all the town has to offer. Breakfast very well done with a good variety. A courtyard with swimming pool right in centre of complex with lounge chairs to relax around pool.

Beautiful, historic boutique hotel to stay in historic town of Baeza.
Not easy to find in the car (although the hotel did give us excellent directions beforehand when we asked) and especially the underground (small) car park. We were lucky because we requested parking at the hotel beforehand.
The whole hotel is very private and centred around a hidden internal courtyard with pool and restaurant. I believe it was a former 16th Century merchants home.
We had a delightful suite in the oldest part of the hotel, with sitting room, large bedroom and a huge bathroom.
The outdoor restaurant next to the pool was superb - not cheap - but the Foie Gras starter was the best I've ever had!
I would highly recommend this hotel for a quiet, dreamy, romantic stay with your spouse.

A lovely hotel, very spacious and clean rooms. A beautiful pool and surrounding courtyard. We were able to have our dinner outside by the pool on a beautiful night. A lovely dinner and a very good breakfast. Pleasant helpful staff and a lovely reception area.
