Quaint Little Hotel, very affordable.
341tapancon 28/06/2017 20:49It's on a main arterial road in Guadalajara, quiet and not bad at all for the price. I stayed here 3 nights and they were gracious enough to reduce y stay by one night on request. The restaurant has limited options but it's ok. The pool is well maintained and they have small feeding pots for hummingbirds.
The staff wasn't professional and not very helpful.
omzbamfon 31/01/2017 03:38We visited the hotel in November 7th, 2016, we were very hungry and asked if they had room service and they said yes, when we try to make an order they told us, that restaurant was closed. We told them that we wanted to leave and they didn't reimburse our money. We left any ways. It was awful.
Very pleasant 2 week stay
joseavelar1991on 13/01/2017 19:52I stayed in the queen room, the room is a bit small but well organized. Beds are very comfortable. I stayed for two weeks and was very pleased with the staff. They are very friendly and always eager to help. The food in the restaurant and valet parking are very good. The location is very ideal because it's close to a Main Street and easy to navigate from. I definitely recommend this hotel for anyone that is looking for a good nights rest and friendly service.
Dont book a room in this hotel!
TehuanaSuecaon 27/06/2016 18:25The room me and my boyfriend were staying at was relatively clean. Although we both thought the bed was awfully hard and the bathroom had a peculiar smell.
Well, nothing we couldnt tolerate. The problem started at night when the rain came. The roof had a massive leak! And all our stuff was on the floor, wet! Including shoes. I woke up because of the wattery noise!!! When i call the desk they only send a guy to our room with towels and a bucket!!! (!!) and they denied us another room untel both my boyfriend and I get totally pissed!!!!
Spare yourself troubles of this kind and look after another hotel.Specially if thereis rain expected!
Very cheap and basic
Joe_Bisteccaon 15/04/2016 13:29I spent in Puerta del Sol 5 days for business. The place is good for families, since it has a good swimming pool in its park besides the appartments. Rooms are very basics but are large and the service is good. Also the personnel at the reception is very kindly and helpful. The breakfast is not amazing like in such luxurius hotles, but I have enjoyed a lot the real mexican style of the dishes. I can advise to visit this hotel for travellers. Is not good for business because it's a family hotel and there are not meeting rooms.
