Well this hotel is an old fashioned but offers good comfortable rooms and with good service. At one time this hotel used to be quite famous but now people prefer 5 star ones.
Well food is good here withe variety of cuisines to choose from. Overall stay is good.

Hotel is average. They have a hidden visitors policy, one of my female friend certainly made a plan to meet me in hotel on my arrival day. I was travelling from Shillong so was too tired and also had flight in same check in night, so asked hotel staff to at least allow my friend for sometime in my room(normally most hotel has a policy of visitors can visit in a day time ), asked hotel receptionist, he never polite to say he will check, he told its our policy we cant allow(where in your policy is that written?????), so spoke with the lady in reservations she also denied. Finally called FOM Mr. Kamal and requested, he told its out policy sir we wont allow (where is the policy in written??). I agreed on verbal policy and thought better go outside market, so told reception person to give me room key, as my luggage was lying in the hotel room 621, they told due to some renovations the key is not available, we can change the room to 3rd floor (I made check in at 2 pm and have check out at 7pm same day- why I change my room), so depressed with the hospitality. Have called again to inform situation to Mr. Kamal. He told don't be soo aggressive, you don't know who I am, I know all head people of goibibo, I am a key player of hospitality . Dear kamal I was the part of goibibo a month back, is this not the way to tell any guest. Anyhow I have checked out from the hotel in evening. Bad stay 😔

So I ended up at this place due to my flight cancellation. So our airlines had provided this accomodation for a one night stay. It was a great stay, the only thing is as it is old place..the hotel might seem to be quaint and dull. But the staff, food and stay was amazing. They have great options for breakfast, so don't miss that.

This is a 3 star property in the middle of busy Paltan Bazar. You won't get to see how big this hotel is until you enter in it. Staff is good, however the property is old and have been renovated in places. The bath tub in the washroom is a made-up structure (gives you the feel of "mohenjo daro". The restaurant is good, we liked the breakfast.

Good food but very old hotel. Swimming pool is very dirty and pathetic. Rooms are decent but old. Bathrooms needs renovation. Aircondition works fine, hotel staff is very nice and cooperative, helped us a lot.
