The rooms are very comfortable and the breakfast is fantastic (you won't leave hungry or unsatisfied). The shower is a bit small, but the pool is wonderful. We also had a massage and it was a magical experience.

It is a well refurbished hotel, with good to excellent service and an ok swimmingpool. Nice environment, with good restaurants, but almost all of them need driving.
The staff is friendly and is not pushing you at all to buy, hurry or so.

We were a group of 18 friends and had a 4 day stay at Hotel Montemarino. We could enjoy a great service in a beautiful and quiet landscape. The staff made everything to make this stay a very memorable trip to Piemont

We had a superior double room (No. 24). The curtains in the room are anything but light proof. The electric lighting comprises one small light either side of the bed and one light that would be above the settee if it was turned into a bed. The lighting is inadequate in all respects, particularly for reading a book in bed. The lighting in the shower room is more than adequate but the shower room has no outside ventilation and the extractor fan is anything but efficient.
The room is heated by underfloor heating which one can adjust the temperature of in the room but the management appear to turn the heating off at night so if one gets out of bed in the night, one has to cross a cold stone floor.
The hotel is situated far from any decent restaurants so for lunch and dinner one has to be in a car or some other form of transport and travel some distance.
The room door is opened with a key joined to a plastic sheet which has to be inserted in a slot to put the lights on. The snag of this is that one cannot depart the room and return at separate times from one’s partner.
