We picked the Hotel Relax as it was outside the town of Siracuse but convenient for all the main sights. Excellent pool, friendly waiters (the miserable receptionist could turn milk sour!) & all you'd expect from a modern hotel. Not too sure why we had some many off duty policemen staying at the hotel in their police cars etc.

We arrived at the hotel a little early, and a very friendly bar staff organized a lovely lunch. The hotel was then invaded by a large group of young people, which of course made the breakfast room rather crowded.
Still, the pool was nice, the balcony was nice and the staff helpful

We stayed for a week in September, everything about the hotel was very good. The restaurant was excellent, all the staff were helpful, rooms were pleasant and the pool kept clean. You'll need a car as the hotel is a few miles outside Syracuse but it is very handy for the motorway which makes visiting other towns in the region easy.

The hotel is an ideal base for those having a car and wishing to visit ortygia, avola, noto and surroundings. Staff very courteous and fantastic clean pools , both for adults and a pool for the kids. Breakfast excellent.

My friend was only going to stay in Siracusa for one night but it was so lovely we ended up staying for two. Reservations were no problem in June, even booking the night before. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly, going above and beyond in giving advice. There is an amazing pool with a very nice restaurant patio as well. The meal was great, and even got complimentary snacks! The room was spacious and clean. We borrowed bikes from the hotel free of charge the next day to bike around the city, then came back for a swim in the pool. The only negative is that you need a car to stay here, as it is a few kilometres away from the centre.
Overall, it was extremely good value for a great hotel room with great service and amenities. Definitely a pleasant stay in Siracusa.
