I travelled with my school and 50 pupils to Bormio to SantAnton Hotel. Loved every moment. The staff were lovely. The meals were varied and plentiful and the fantastic slopes very close. Rooms clean and comfortable. Absolutely Fab. hope I get to come next year. XXXXXXXX

room 301 is the best place for the children to play on the stairs dogs barking breakfast is cleared away some 30 min before advertised time. you will not need an early morning call as the residents choose to wear ski boots on the lightly carpeted floors which echo incessantly. the room was ok but over priced. the tv is so small you need to stand next to it to see it. if you have a car get back to the hotel early as spaces are limited.

1.room cleaning - it is clean but it just stinks.. the amount of chlor used to clean the bathroom is incredible..and you smell it in the room 24hrs per day...
2.there is no wifi in the rooms(available at the reception only)
3.nothing warm for breakfast is clearly offered. You need to figure out it is possible and ask at the kitchen..99% of guest is unaware of it..
4.our child couldn't really have fun in a hotel's "kindergarten" as the staff speaks Italian only...
6.yesterday at the breakfast I left my table just to grab a coffee...when I was back all the food previously taken was already gone...joke...
7. 4*hotel and tableclothe is not changed every day! You eat dinner by the dirty table...
8.Attention!!!!!!.. the hotel seems to be happy to host the groups.during our stay a group of about 40 children (about 12-14years old) stayed at the hotel..as you can imagine no way to have a rest...shouting, banging the doors etc.. when the group left, another appeared (this time about 25 about 10-12years old)...screaming..banging doors..again..of course staff doesn't care..
9.there is mould in the bathroom. see the photo.
10.the parking place by the hotel..All iced..seems no one cares (see photo)
11.when checking out I was unable to use a lift..as cleaning ladies used it for about 15 minutes to carry towels and water.so heavy suitcases had to be carried out by myself ..from the 3rd level..
12.to make a summary, for the price we paid and other really nice hotels in the neighborhood. .no way...

Food for a dinner was good.

I liked the hotel, as it is in a good place, no problem with parking, rooms are large and well-equipped. Breakfast is ok, though I missed some tomato or salad, or any vegetable. In my opinion breakfast time is too late, instead of 7:30 I would have preferred 7:00. E.g. if you want to be at 9 at Livigno for skiing, 7:30 is a bit late. Also, variety for dinner is not too large, 4 starters, 4 courses (no vegetarian), 1 dessert. I wanted to start trip to home early, but check-out started only at 8.

Facing the Valtellina mountains , this classic hotel at the first glance is a nice structure downtown Bormio , very close to the congress center. I experience a massage in the Spa area , they are really professional but quite expensive 75 euro for 60 minutes massage and it was discounted ! because the normal price was 99 euro. They gave us a nice room facing the mountains and the ski area , if you want that side the the hotel you should ask expressly . Breakfast is not as a 4 stars hotel should be , few things not well presented and slow to be replaced when they is a lack of them.Dinner was really poor , again for a 4 star hotel , insted of cash in on all fantastic ingredients of the Valtellina valley they proposed "Marinare rice" !!! , Valdostana steack. How can it be!!! then i should say as a final comment , for sure you could find in Bormio a better place to a cheaper price
