This hotel is pretty much perfect and exceeded our already high expectations. We stayed here for 5 nights and never wanted to leave. It is family owned and has been for multiple generations, and the service is so wonderful at dinner, on the special appetizer/aperitif nights, and at the front desk that it was quite sad when we had to leave and say goodbye to the staff! The food itself is worth the price you pay for the entire hotel stay. Dinner included 5 courses each night (the first being a salad bar which included wonderful fresh greens, grilled veggies, cheeses, etc.), with all 4 remaining courses being beautiful presented and the service impeccable. It was like eating in a top rated restaurant every night, for a fraction of the price. The Sunday aperitif was especially wonderful -- I dream about those squash blossoms and that prosciutto which was cut with a beautiful antique meat slicer! You have your choice out of 3 items for 2 of the 4 courses, with the other 2 courses (dessert and appetizer) being the same for everyone. The choices were pretty varied and all really great; the only criticism I could think of would be to have more interesting vegetarian choices, as it might be hard if you were a strict vegetarian. The saunas are also nice and you can use them for free each day from 4-7 pm, and the hotel itself is located in a beautiful region of the Dolomites, in Alta Badia. You can hike right from the hotel, or for more hiking options you just need to take a short 10 min drive from the hotel. If you're into road biking it is perfect too, as the Sella Ronda course is right there, as well as lots of other awesome climbs! Just be prepared for lots of climbing, and a bit too many cars/motorcycles. Our stay in the Dolomites was one of the best trips of our lifetime, and that was because of this hotel.

We stayed 3 nights and have good things to say about the property. The rooms were spacious, the staff was friendly. The location was convenient to the Sella Ronda from Corvara. The place was spotless. We enjoyed the steam room. The meals were nicely prepared. I would go back. I only have one complaint, no one manned the front desk most times of the day.

Hotel Rezia is autstanding in all aspects of service with room facilities that are luxurious and extremelly comfortable. The hotel is not a very big structure but it gives it a family atmosphere with all the luxury. The ambiance is welcoming and thoughtful. All the staff are wonderful and really go out of their way to ensure that you have a good time. The accommodation, hotel facilities are all first class and the food is excellent-top quality.Everything is just perfect. Highly recommended!

Great location for skiing

A beautiful hotel with modern rooms. We had a balcony with a great view. There is a cosy bar with fireplace where you can drink something all day and evening. The food is really special and super. In 10 minutes you walk to the village. The shuttle service is perfect. 1 phonecall when you want them to pick you up again in the afternoon at any time.
From the hotel there are several beautiful hiking trails.
This hotel is really worth visiting.

A Gem in the Dolomites

The Dolomite Mountains are located in a less well traveled area of Italy near the Austrian border. Hotel Rezia is itself in a quieter section of the Dolomites but walking distance from busy Corvara. The Dolomite Mountains are stunningly beautiful, uniquely chiseled into vertical cliff faces. The hiking in the area is absolutely first rate and it is also a biking center. If you find yourself anywhere near Bolsano, you need to experience these mountains.

Hotel Rezia is itself a treasure in the midst of all of the natural beauty. A family owned lodge, it is operated with a genuine concern for its customers. The rooms are spotless and well-appointed. The spa is exceptional- perfect after a long day of mountain hiking. The food is four star restaurant quality- meal after meal we marveled at the quality of the food and creativity of the chef. The staff will make you feel like family. We came to the Dolomites expecting to experience amazing scenery. We did that, but we also experienced how much a great lodging experience can add to such a trip. You need to try this place.
