stayed in this hotel last year solo traveller had downstairs room next to reception very poor decor in desperate need of upgrading.
unable to sit outside no view from ground floor.
wifi was expensive and not always available.
food was inedible went and ate at restaurant down the road of which there are a good choice (thank goodness),
the restuarant at the hotel again was very poorly decorated.the mad woman (owner)in the kitchen would give no alternative to what we were served and shouted a lot when items of food returned to the kitchen awful experience would never go back there.

I have awarded 1 star for the room (confortable and clean) and 1 star for the service by restaurant staff (couldn't fault them). Unfortunately I removed 3 stars for the following:
1) Whilst the majority of the rooms have lovely views of the lake or pool, mine unfortunately had a view of a hedge. It was one of only 2 rooms without a view and positioned behind reception so you could hear every conversation etc that took place.
2) The food could only be described as edlible at best
3) If you require drinks either prior to or after your meal you need to ask the owner at reception. I tried this on one occasion before my evening meal and was made to wait 25 minutes before being told he wasn't going to serve me and to wait until my meal.

3 night stay in this lovely friendly hotel. Guiseppe and Adele very friendly and helpful. Positioned right on the lake and within walking distance from the town. Ferry meters away, from where you can travel to other places on the lake, such as Sirmione. Wonderful views of the lake from hotel room which had a lovely balcony. I left some items in the room and they actually posted them to me in UK free of charge. Wonderful place.

Just returned from a five night break to this hotel.just stayed bed & breakfast which was adequate.Our rooms where very spacious & bathrooms very clean & also spacious.Lovely view of the lake with just trees obscuring the view slightly. Gesseppi the manager so helpful on where to visit whilst we where there,& spot on regarding this. Nice walk down to the little harbour where there are a number of restaurants,but not much else to do in the immediate area. You can get boats to some places from this harbour, but otherwise we had to get taxis to get anywhere, no local buses,so this proved rather expensive. If I return I would hire a car,as this is a very peaceful place to stay,but could get about easier.

We stayed in this hotel for 3 nights as part of a coaching holiday with Newmarket Holidays. We were slightly on our guard after reading reviews, many of which were critical, of the manageress. In all honesty we had no problems with the manageress at all, she was helpful and pleasant, maybe a little loud at times but there was nothing in her attitude we could take offence at. The hotel was clean, our room was comfortable with a good shower in the spotless bathroom complete with bidet. The food was reasonable but not up to the standard I was expecting. There were vegans and vegetarians in our coaching party, I don't think these people were properly catered for, the staff could not understand the concept of veganism and struggled to feed the 2 people involved. I did not really enjoy the food at this hotel and was disappointed at the monotony of the menu. Other guests in this hotel, not on coaching parties, seemed to be seated in nicer areas of the dining room and I am sure the menu was tweaked for these people so they got just that little bit extra. Eggs were not readily available for us, we had to ask for them. On one occasion, after our party had all had an early breakfast, I noticed a large bowl of eggs had been put out for the other guests who had yet to come down. This left a bit of a sour taste in my mouth but as we were leaving that day I just let it lie.
