This property is located just at the beginning of the famous mall road, and bags all points for this location!
Just 100 meters walk from the tourism lift and you are there.. no steep climbs!
Talking about rooms, super deluxe room is quite good, extremely spacious and comfy!
No valley views from the room, but awesome views from tha balcony jus outside their pathway which leads to the rooms!
Food.. lipsmacking and an awesome variety to chose from!
I especially liked their kadhai paneer!
There is no wifi in this hotel, but you dont miss that as you can roam around mall road in your leisure time and explore shimla in the best way without any hassles if you are staying here!
Staff is very nice and great hospitality from their end!
Kudos to rock sea for making our stay comfortable and looking forward to another visit!

We, 4 families stayed at Hotel Rock Sea for 2 nights (13 & 14 March, 2017). Sorry for the delayed review.
The hotel is an average one, specially suited for budget travellers, at an excellent location, just two minutes level walk from the upper side of the Lift. Easy walk to reach The Mall. The hotel is situated just in front of Hotel Prashant. We initially planned to stay at Prashant which seems to me a better one; but as we did not get room there, Mr. Bobby, the owner of the property, arranged our stay at Rock Sea.
Rooms are a bit small with just average bathroom. However, the valley view from the window of the room and balcony just outside the room was awesome. The food was not upto the mark. But, that is not a problem, because there are lots of restaurants available nearby.
Booking, check in and check out were all absolutely smooth.
I would recommend this hotel for short stay of budget travellers.

Room: perfect room with balcony added, good bathroom, towels provided, bed cozy.
Location: just next to museum of wax. lower bazzar mall road. which is excellent location.
Amenties: room service great. I was impressed with just a phone call. They would came rushing for help.

Excellent Location and good food (dinner and breakfast). Rooms are bit small, but very good for budget travelers as we are using only for night stay. Walk-able distance to Mall road and Lift. Good service as well. Overall I recommend this hotel for travelers.

I stayed hare for five days. The staff are all very professional and at the same time very cordial. The scenic beauty from the balcony of hotel is excellent. Rooms are bit small but OK seeing the location constrain. The hotel is located in the Mall and very near to the famous lift of Shimla mall. Room service is also excellent
