For about $1110/night we got a reasonably spacious room, a good quality Japanese breakfast, and a comfortable hot spring bath. Not real close to anything, but an easy cab ride to everything we wanted to see. The cab rides were a great way to see the city.
Only one complaint: the mattresses are very hard!

I've stayed here 6-7 times in the last four years. This is a clean, efficient business hotel close to the train station and an easy walk to the castle. The breakfast buffet is acceptable to westerners and the Japanese breakfast is delicious. I really appreciate the fact that this hotel is non-smoking. The hotel front desk is very friendly and understanding of my very poor Japanese. I'll continue to stay here as this is a good bargain.
