What People are saying

Stayed here because there was nowhere else

Exshropon 26/08/2015 21:05

We stayed here for a sumo event in Ashikaga. It’s not practical for Ashikaga if you’re relying on public transport, and I can’t think why you would stay here unless you have friends or business in Ota. The rooms are a reasonable size and clean. The beds are very hard. Wifi worked ok. Hotel staff have limited English. Dinner in the restaurant was unexciting. Breakfast (included in the room rate) was poor.

Regular Japanese hotel for workers

I stayed in this hotel one month. Bed was very hard but that didn't bother me. Single room is very small (allmost impossible to open normal luggage on the floor). Luckuly I was working the days and had to only sleep at the hotel. Breakfast was OK, better than in similar hotels. Western also available. Fast and free WiFi. Beisia (grocery store) and fitness gym 10 minutes by walking.

Simply avoid this chain

Luigi_Finoon 19/11/2013 01:13

Not that you can expect much from a business hotel chain specialized in "middle of nowhere" locations. Nevertheless, usually you wish for a decent bed and a somehow eatable breakfast.
None of this is provided here: the mattresses at this hotel are so hard and unconfortable that you get not used to it even the second night. About the breakfast: it is free of charge (of course who'll charge for that stuff) and it smells like the worst you can imagine. The air quality in the rooms is not much better: one air conditioner for heating and cooling, so that in the cold season this thing blasts a lot of hot and dirty air until you get a headache. The alternative a freezing. When I told about this to an aquaitance, he told me that "that's why I avoid all hotels of this chain".

Too expensive

jvheon 13/10/2013 06:58

10.000¥ / night is really too much for this hotel.
Western breakfast is terrible (bad toast and chemical marmelade). Anything you get for a few q100¥ in a convenience store will taste better.
Rooms are very basic and look like they haven't been refurbished in decades.
I would rate this 2-stars.

Basic Hotel, Good for business trip

AbhiSrivon 21/09/2013 13:07

I stayed for 2 days in this Hotel, during a business trip, in 2nd Week of Jan, 2013. It is at 15-20 minutes walk from Ota Station. Rooms are small, but neat and clean and well maintained. There is no view from hotel. Bathroom was good as well. We don't know Japanese and my colleague forgot his card 3 times in room, and room got locked. But still the staff did not get angry. Breakfast is Japanese and good. Pure vegetarians will get milk, bread, onion rings, boiled vegetables.
