great location and good hotel
Ken Bon 15/09/2017 18:22Been here previously, right in the centre of town, and fairly priced. Rooms comfortable rather than lux, breakfasts good. Parking is often an issue, but there's a big municipal car park 5 mins away. The location and general OK-ness makes it the most likely place I would stay if we're in Cortina again.
Well located, great value hotel in Cortina
JEH60on 29/03/2017 16:27Hotel Royal has a fantastic location right in the heart of Cortina. Easy walk to the bus stop for skiing and to Faloria ski area. Shopping and restaurants are right outside your front door. The rooms are basic but have everything you need. The beds are very comfortable with nice pillows. They serve a buffet breakfast every morning as well.
Staff is very friendly and welcoming.
Would definitely stay here again.

Edward Won 10/03/2017 17:48Brilliant location in an idyllic Italian resort. The hotel rooms are sufficient and the staff by and large helpful and pleasant.
Facilities are a bit few and far between, does not have a bar to relax in.
By and large a pleasant experience but would have loved a jacuzzi and somewhere to relax!
Really comfortable stay
NewcTasteron 18/09/2016 08:53Really happy staying at Hotel Royal in Cortina. The rooms are nice and clean. The breakfast is awesome continental European fare. They had frozen gluten free bread which they baked for me in the morning *although I should have advised them the night before!* The location is great, close to restaurants etc. Marcello is very friendly and helpful and advised us on the hiking here. He speaks English, which is helpful considering our poor Italian. Cortina is a bit chilly coming from Australia, plan clothes like you'd wear in Jindabyne.
Good value and location
Fudmanon 15/09/2016 21:47We spent two nights here in Cortina. A very good value (about $100 USD/nite) and it was centrally located within Cortina. Breakfast was very good and we had no complaints. I recommend this place for the good value!
