Very poor standard hotel . Better to avoid staying in this class IV hotel . No hot water, no complimentary breakfast, poor service, harsh reception, small rooms, AC not working, bad odour . The only thing to consider is a good restaurant adjacent . Value for room stay if below Rs500/- per day

Location is premium considering it's based in Golghar which the Connaught Place (if I may say so) of Gorakhpur. The interiors also above average and considering it's UP a big plus is that the place has power backup. The reception is fair, not very impressive and from the structure it seems that space has been maximized to have as many rooms as possible.
The landing on the first floor is relatively spacious and also leads to the famous restaurant "Shahanshah" dedicated to dear Mr. Amitabh Bachchan. it's definitely worth a visit, maybe not so much for the food but the unique way that it's done up to reflect and capture every movie and mood of the Mega Superstar.
The rooms, furniture and interiors are above average but the starting room is very small, the bathroom is relatively more spacious in comparison.
The service varies, could be very prompt sometimes and rather delayed sometimes. The buffet breakfast is nothing much to write about and can hardly be called that with the limited options available.
As mentioned overall, not a bad place but nothing great either. I didn't explore but there could be other options available for lesser but then it's a very safe bet

the hotel lacks in providing good service. hotel room was okay but to get it cleaned you need to call the housekeeping staff many times.food was good but a bit costly as for as gorakhpur is concerned. my final impression is that hotel is not worth staying for the room rate the hotel offers.

Hotel is comfortable but the house keeping facility is very poor. I stayed 04 days in hotel. House keepers didn't clean the room even after informing many times at the reception. Restaurant is good devoted to Sh. Amitabh Bachhan.

Stayed here when could not get booking at Shivoy or Grand.
Nice hotel, situated at Golghar. Normal & deluxe rooms are very small. Executive room was quite big. Bed was OK & linen quality was average. Room was well air conditioned. TV services was interrupted.
Bathroom was just ok. Bath amenities & towels were not upto the mark.
Breakfast is just simple. Although the services are good. Food is also tasty.
They also have a theme Restaurant, Shehanshah, dedicated to Amitabh Bachchan.
Bit over priced but can be considered
