Couple Visiting for a Short Break
Melissa Oon 31/05/2017 09:08My husband and I stayed at the Hotel Saccardi & SPA for two nights while on a quick getaway to Verona. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The staff was incredibly friendly, helpful and accommodating. The Spa facilities in particular are phenomenal. We spent our first day relaxing by the pool, getting some sun outside, then moving inside for massages and saunas. It was blissful.
My only complaint about this hotel is that the room that we stayed in didn't seem to match the rest of the hotel. The hotel is decorated beautifully and gives the impression of a very classy and attractive place to stay - the spa and pool areas (both indoor and outdoor) support this image. But the rooms do not. Our room was basic and clean.....but also sparse and poorly decorated. It looked like it just hadn't been designed to match the rest of the hotel. We had everything we needed - and the room worked fine for us on this trip because we didn't really spend any time in it (we were there to see Verona, not the hotel). But we were surprised at the look of the room and had expected more after seeing the other hotel facilities, which are fantastic.
Apart from that, however, it was great! If you're looking for a nice place to use as a base while doing some sightseeing, I'd highly recommend this hotel. Great quality and terrific value for money!
Good value
SharonH2013on 21/05/2017 17:58Stayed for 3 nights. It is located right opposite the airport (and next to a motorway) but we hardly heard any air traffic noise whilst we were there and the road noise was only noticeable when you were outside. We used the hotel as a base so it was perfect for us. Lots of nice things to choose for breakfast and as we had great weather we sat out overlooking the pool to eat. The staff are all very helpful and friendly. We used the free shuttle bus every day. We also used the indoor pool in the evenings which was lovely. Although we didn't use it, the gym equipment looked good (compared to others we have seen in hotels) and there was also a steam room. Wifi was very good but you did need to be inside the building. We thought it was great value for what we paid.
In need of upgrades
E3267JLkarencon 08/02/2017 14:52Overall, we just had a pleasant stay in this hotel and I really wanted to give it 4 stars due to the friendly reception staff but the condition of the bedrooms really dont allow me to do this. The rooms are very bare and outdated with a very small television high up and hard bed that we had to request extra pillows for.
The bar area, restaurant and lobby areas are all good, its just the bedrooms that really let it down.
Not fear
VlS1105on 02/02/2017 00:40I am staying in this hotel twice a year, but this year I booked my stay in October for stay in February. 10 days leater I moved my reservation only for one day and they charged my both stays. In my opinion it is not O.K. to charge to charge a room 4 or 5 months in advance, especially when You are only moving Your stay for only one day. This will be my last stay at this hotel.

Louise Bon 26/12/2016 21:55We arrived on Christmas eve , when you arrive at the hotel you think oh dear , but then you walk through the door and you think wow its nice.
I just want to say the receptionist was really nice she helped us out with finding a restaurant on Christmas eve. She phoned the restaurant straight away and booked us a table .
The only thing wrong in the rooms we only had one electric socket which was difficult with charging phones,computers etc.
Apart from that the rooms were comfortable and clean.
