Clean bathroom.....staff is nice...peace ...but no restaurant ....only tea /coffee biscuits available....but very close to darbar saheb...just 5 min walking distance...market is very close...conveince for early in the morning easily available

The hotel was full booked so we were given rooms beside the reception.
The rooms and shower was clean. Linens was spotless. Was a good deal for 2 nights. WiFi was good in the reception area.
The only thing that my husband didn't like was the asking us if we were married as I still has my maiden name on all identity cards.

We went with family to Amritsar. We booked at this hotel online. It's most conveniently located if golden temple is your prime objective
Walking distance from rear gate near lunger hall. Around 100 mtrs from the gate.
Other attractions are also close by, main entrance and market around is st 500 mtrs.
Rooms are clean, staff and owner are very friendly and supportive.
Few areas you should be aware of... No lift if you are traveling with elders, no views from any room as this is in middle of bylanes of Amritsar.
For going to popular eating and shopping joints you need to travel towards main entrance or other side of golden temple.. this is time consuming considering narrow lanes of Amritsar. Though ,You would get cycle rikshas and battery autos just at the entrance

A budget hotel a short walk to the Golden Temple which is the main attraction of Amritsar. The room is compact and functional. Shower pressure is good with hot water and can have good shower. Cleanliness of room and common area is not as good as we would expect, probably due to the dusty/damaged road in front of the hotel. It gets flooded too at times making access to hotel difficult. The room gets very cold at nigh as it's approaching winter. Though the owner supplied us a portable heater after a two days hustle, it was not working well as it get burnt out in a few minutes.
Attitude of the receptionist or Manager is lacking. Unresponsive and not very helpful. Owner JJ is kind and helpful which balanced off our negative opinion.
Wifi was good and they have cable tv.
A good place to stay if what you just need is a room to lay down.

This hotel has a great location very close to the Golden Temple which is only a few minutes walk away. My room was very clean, comfy, had a good hot shower and Wifi reception. The staff were excellent and the owner, Mr JJ Singh could not have been more kind and helpful. He arranged my trip to the Wagah Border Ceromony and had lots of good advice about Amritsar. Very good value - recommended.
