pbridge1300on 16/10/2017 21:44Very comfortable traditional hotel. Beautiful building with a nice sense of arrival. Outstanding and professional front desk. Good bar. Good restaurant with good value. Nice breakfast. Excellent bed, excellent sheets, nice room, nice bathroom. I suppose it's not a Four Seasons, but frankly, it has everything that I like, and everything that I hope for in a hotel. Recommended.
The negative -- a bit of a walk to the aqueduct, and then the Alcazar is further away yet. Cabs are inexpensive and recommended, perhaps for the return trip after walking for a while.
Is it really a four star hotel ?
Peter Con 08/10/2017 11:19Although the hotel rate as four star hotel, but it does not provide a truly luxurious experience. The wall between guest room is very thin, you can hear your next door neighbour tv’s sound. And the hotel is far from the town it took at least 15 mins to walk to the plaza.

Mary Gon 06/10/2017 08:29We loved it! We had a very pleasant ground floor room (105.) We thought the staff were extremely nice. We had a drink in the bar before dinner which was very reasonably priced.
Dinner itself was absolutely delicious. It also included a glass of wine.
Would we return? Yes most definitely.
Attention while booking online

Just watch out while booking online (the only reason I did not give 5*).
Usually, when booking hotels online the types of rooms are displayed and you choose the one you want. Here, we booked a standard room, believing that standard mean double bed, like most hotels do. Did not think much about it. When we got there we were given a twin room.
Basically, "standard" for them mean they will give you whatever they have available.
Unless you call the hotel in advance and tell them by phone your preferences. 😐
They seriously and urgently need to update their booking system.
