For the reasons listed below I am rating this hotel 5/5.
- I am actually planning my wedding celebration in this Hotel, and I've received a great deal. Please have on mind the following items:
1) Food / Restaurant - The food was great (Cordon Bleu Chicken), I even congratulate to the Chef.
2) Hotel location - It is located in a really great area of the city in a top of a hill, just besides of the catholic church "Nuestra Seniora de Guadalupe" also known as "La Lomita".
3) Safety - Never felt insecure in the area.
4) Price - Very convenience price and the hotel really looks FANCY!
5) Hotel infrastructure - Hotel looks in great conditions, so are the rooms and the event room.

This is the WORST HOTEL I've ever stayed at- everything since the arriving - I made reservations for a room King size bed with an extra living room and balcony and city view for Me and my fiancé to enjoy- the receptionist Paola set me to a small room 125 about 2x2 with 2 small beds and as I opened the window the view was the roof - I went right back to her and showed her my print out on the description on by booking then she sent me to another room 712 another small room with 2 beds with balcony no extra living room and the view to the pool - I went the 3rd time back and demanded she place me on the right room or refunded my $$ to go to San Marcos Hotel- finally she sent me to room 528 a bit decent, no balcony but a nice view through the window- them the 2nd day no hot water we had to shower with cold water then 2 hours later no water at all - I talked to LLuvia this time and she wanted to move us to another room for the 4th time like if I went for vacations to be moving rooms all the time :@ - I woke up with bug bites all over I thought it was the mosquitoes, but the 3rd & 4th day again woke up with more bites - I'm marked all over, I called the reception to report and let them know the cleaning ladies are very bad they are talking on the hallways all the time joking around, but then they do not clean the carpets nor change the sheets on the beds unless you tell them - something that bothered me very much was that they do not have the "do not disturb" cards and bell man Francisco told me the master card they carry will let them know if someone is in the room because it marks red- well these punks would come every day to knock on the door at 8am :@ who wants to be waken up when you are resting for vacations- another thing the Wi-Fi do not work I called the reception again a couple of times and the phone rang like 20 times no answer - there is a 99% BAD on this hotel - I would never recommend it not even if I had enemies- I don't understand why they have it as one of the best hotels in Culiacan Sinaloa- it's a shame of representing such a nice State in Mexico- the only good of it is the location that is IT!!! I hope you keep this review so people won't have the same experience as us and hopefully the owner of this place reads and gets embarrassed :(

At the very least they could have given me some lube before they fu**ed me. I can't believe they are BLARING music at 2:00 AM. I have children that can't sleep. Worst part is that I'm paying for this.

Usually i went to the city each couple of weeks and used the facilities from another hotels.
1st time that i stay at San Luis and the only thing i can say was amazing, clean and big room with the best view in town, the restaurant buffet was ok nothing outstanding but was good.
The bell boy at nigth skinny tall guy excellent and Lluvia the girl at front desk what can i say, Iam in love i will ask merry me in my next trip... Best Hotel and location in town

The front desk is always empty, no one there at all. The rooms are ok but smell of old, the AC is right in your face so you either freeze to death or take the heat
But the internet is the worse, i come here for work and can't work in my room the WiFi is probably the worst I've seen ever
